Can anyone assist me in the acquirement of Pandora app. It's not available in the UK so I am stuck
Only way to do it would result in jailbreaking + installing cracked apps. Unsure of whether you can do that considering the Pandora app is free anyways.Mecha_Infantry said:Can anyone assist me in the acquirement of Pandora app. It's not available in the UK so I am stuck![]()

If I jailbreak an iPhone, will I still be able to purchase goodies from the iTunes Store and access said purchased goodies? Like I can do with PSN via my CFW'ed PSP?
Stumpokapow said:You can purchase stuff from the iTunes store and access existing purchases with absolutely no problem.
There are certain modifications you can make to a jailbroken iPhone (most notably the modification used to access removed from app store/cracked/pirated games) that will prevent you from buying in-app DLC.

So, I'm sure it's not an issue for most of you (having moved on to the latest & greatest), but in case anyone is hit with a crash-on-start with iOS4, please know that it'll be fixed the very moment Apple approves the update.
Thanks!

This could be EA testing the waters for low priced games. If it's successful and they make a killing over the next 48 hours, it might mean we see lower priced EA titles across the board...

Great. It's a bit short without the DLC, but can't beat it for a buck. Controls really well, and still has some depth even dumbed down from the PC release.drmcclin said:any impressions of Command & Conquer?

General performance of iOS4 on the 3G is sluggish and awkward anyway; I really hope it doesn't balls up games as well.

Shame I suck at it (best score is 51, LOL).

I'm hoping with 3GS becoming the baseline phone people will start designing for newer hardware exclusively.
Espgalada 2, for instance, requires a 3GS or better and look at the results! It's a gorgeous arcade port that runs at a proper 60 fps. So many games compromise the framerate in order to run on older devices.

It's a consequence of the aggressive upgrade cycle of the mobile world. I dug up my 1st gen iPod touch the other day to give to someone for a car trip, hoping to load it with games. It's still on ios2, however, and I've discovered there are a lot of games that don't install on 2.x anymore.whatevermort said:I think you missed my point. What I was asking is if updates to older apps that currently work really well on 3G phones might start performing badly. I am all for new phones - I'm planning on getting my 4 tomorrow - but my Dad got a 3G a few months ago, and I would hate for Peggle to start performing terribly for him if the textures suddenly got replaced and that caused a real performance hit. iPhone4-only games? I'm all for them, frankly.

How about a more full-on soccer game? You'd have to pass the ball to teammates and find a way to a scoring chance. Might be a bit more hardcore, but I'd definitely buy it. Can't cost more than a couple of dollars to make, right?Mario said:The team has been talking about what more to add to Flick Kick Football if sales warrant further investment. If you (or anyone else) have any ideas let me know and I'll pass on to the team.
