Haha, that Power Station map is hilarious. Has platforming too. We didn't beat it though..I'm making a short clip video of our better moments for where we got. Don't watch the video at the site with the map though; it ruins a lot of stuff.

Here's two perfect short clips that sum it up:

That Map was the most fun I've had with the game in a LONG time. :D

Can't wait to see what people will make 3 months from now. :p

Same for me, please. :) I haven't installed it, but it sounds like it would be fun to try if it's a VPK or whatnot.

Is there any way to get the elevator to go up on the first power station map? I died before that point, but even after I came back it would never go up, and half the time it just trapped people outside. We ended up noclipping to the end.

I still want a mod/campaign with custom sounds and models for the survivors, that's based off that South Park homeless zombie episode.

Wow, Progenitor Project looks rad.

The problem I have, though, is that unless it's done like Dam It where there's just one really big map, the Spencer Mansion isn't big enough to sustain a four-part campaign. It's a big place, don't get me wrong, but given how fast you move in L4D, you could probably take a complete tour of the entire mansion in five or ten minutes.

Trying to put together a video of the Silent Hill campaign linked a few pages ago but it took my crew nearly two hours to get through it. Editing it down to only ten minutes is rough stuff, because I'm trying to keep some semblance of atmosphere.

I might scrap it because there's a high potential it'll just turn out to be boring.

Is anybody still playing this on the 360? My good PC's board has fried so I broke down and got the 360 version, but would rather not play with random children that seem to have infested this version of the game.

Power Station with 1 dead at the start just makes it annoying.

LTTS wants to play it still, but don't know who can host. JSnake and Mut usually do, but they're both away.

Sorry I missed your messages last night, Red. I was playing Aion, and I guess the flashing toolbar doesn't appear over the game screen. If you guys are trying to play it again and find a server, let me know. Maybe I won't be AFK this time.

Like someone else said "Double-Click" the file,
and if it needs to be associated with a program, make sure it's STEAM.

This way it get installed properly.

I was a bit confused by some framerate issues I was having, but using mobility modder and the latest ati drivers seems to have resolved them. Now playing L4D at the laptop's native res of 1366x768 with everything at High except Shaders (Medium), and getting a steady 30-40fps at all times, even when the laptop starts to heat up. Joyous. I soloed a gold medal for Farmhouse giggling all the way.

Botolf has also reminded me I should reinstall Episode 2 and see how it looks.

Oh, and Power Station is batshit insane, and we couldn't stop laughing.

If you've been playing L4D for a long time, you might have an add-ons folder AND an addons folder. I learned my lesson... it's the addons folder. Otherwise, associate VPK to L4D either via the pop-up during your first time loading the update or via the add-ons section in the extra menu, then double click for automated install from Windows explorer.
