Neat, but I don't see what is so appealing with gaming across multiple monitors. Maybe it's just me, but the gap between each screen would bug the heck out of me.
You may think that now but once you see it in action you will really want to have it!!

Using the 360 controller on the PC works perfectly. It even changes the "heads up" icons to correspond with the controller.

Now it seems like the only reason to get the 360 version is for easy splitscreen.

:lol :lol :lol I have two more PC Codes and one 360 code coming up!!!!
I suggest that anyone that hasn't played to play this game. I easily clocked in 12 hours of play time already.

edit: Thanks teck. I have to reread the ToS.

So yes, OXM gave a good score.

This early demo thing was clearly marketing genius. People are doing everything short of working in the back of Olive Garden to get a code, and the demo is only 2 days away :lol . The excitement is palpable.

You wouldn't happen to have a Quake Live invite laying around would you? :D :D

No :(

I only have a CoD:WoW invite, a Mirror's Edge code, Free XBL month(s), and Gears bonuses. But I'm also a really nice guy!

You people and your code trading! Flaming Witch DOES NOT APPROVE.

It's extremely realistic when you have monitors in your peripheral vision. I was afraid of falling out of the cabinet when I was playing Sega's Ferrari arcade game because it seemed like you were really moving. Motion sickness could pose a problem though.

Is anyone else getting a Serious Sam vibe from L4D? I even found myself pining for a wide open killing field and a rocket launcher.

Who said it was only the first 2? Maybe the first 3 work and this secret (?) Death Toll one has something special that makes Versus mode just not work within the context of the level.

Doesn't bother me, the community is going to release so many good maps it doesn't matter.
Well, Valve better be serious about supporting the 360 version with new content. Since we got a near perfect port, I have some hope.

Are they allowed to take community-made mods and release them if they don't charge? I doubt it, but...

meh, I have a feeling I'll just end up double-dipping.

Not first two sequentially. OXM article says two out of four campaign are currently supportING VS mode. Well, at least from the time of review.

im really interested in this game but could someone clear up why people in this thread are talking about the 360 version being inferior to the PC version? I was thinking about picking this up if i ended up buying a 360 this year as i don't have a pc that could run this the way i would want it to, but if there really is a big difference between the two versions, then i might just have to opt out completely.

Only downside to the 360 version is that you can't use mods. The port runs flawlessly.

And you can't use KB + mouse.

Or have better graphics and faster FPS.
Those last 2 don't really matter when you don't have the expensive PC required to run it that well. Also, some people prefer a gamepad over kb/m.
