Any suggestions for good ambient tunes?

I don't know if it counts as ambient, but I'm thinking similar to Bonobo's Black Sands.

So I missed out a lot of stuff from the latter half of last year due to being busy as heck and getting way into podcasts.

Anybody here have a list of what I should check out? Any genre is fine, though house, dub step and garage is preferred.

Awesome track. Love this sort of smooth sound.

No clue what subgenre it is or whatever :lol as someone new to electronic music in general, that stuff is pretty confusing for me still.
Man, most of the time I don't even know what genre a track is in. I usually just tend to describe what a track sounds like to me rather than what a genre is. I really only enjoy house music and derivatives thereof, so I just go with things like "It has a kind of funky, French disco-house vibe" or something like that, rather than just saying "it's house".

Pointless rambling over.

Yep, same here. Though the one thing I do know is that I enjoy almost anything that sounds even remotely influenced by disco for some reason, haha.

I thought he was just keeping it for himself. Assuming he's talking about that particular track, that is.

That particular track.

That Synkro is really nice, especially "Illuminations". That Frequency EP by Ejeca is really good too, they worked out perfect back to back. "Neva 2 Far" is more of the same from him, nice track. "Time For Change" though came out of nowhere with a different sound for him, sounds like he was going for Burial and it kind of reminds me of Tycho.

This one has really been killing:

Natan H & Amy Jean - For Her (ManMakeMusic)
"For Her"
"I Know"
"Rush"

BICEP | MUSCLE WORX 2 (EXCLUSIVE MIX FOR MELBOURNE DEEPCAST)

Little Boots - Superstitious Heart (produced by Maya Jane Coles) // This will be released under the moniker LB, which is James Ford, Little Boots, and Maya Jane Coles.

NUTS
Is it largely just prog or is it a bit different than what I'm expecting?

And is it actually under "Pryda" or is it Eric Prydz? Because it actually does make a difference. Personally, if he had to pick one persona to do an EM under, I'd have to pick Cirez D.

It's mostly Pryda. I love that sound of his though so this is exactly what I like to hear. Plus his mixing skills are unparalleled; you can hardly tell where one song ends and the next one begins.

All the XXYY XXYX XYYXXY YXYXYXY combinations do my head, such a shite producer name. I cant keep track of which one I actually liked out of the atleast 3 diffrent variations!

Not much better than all that TNGHT LNTG MNGMNT etc. bullshit going around. Fads come and then disappear in due time, thankfully.

Ha well im only aware of TNGHT and CRNKN but atleast they are not the same two letters in varying orders! Not that thats much better.
Oh yeah and that Bicep mix was just what I needed today!

Felt so stupid a few days ago when my friend mentioned 'Tonight' and he meant 'TNGHT'. I always thought you were supposed to say it by the individual letters lol.
