edit: Huh, just saw that Marc Romboy, of all people, released a single on This Is More. L'Arc En Ciel, kinda fun. Gotta say I like the Pezzner remix better. I really love this label, they definitely keep you on your toes.

Isn't it a shame. Not seeing he shouldn't win, but really the pool of talent that they look at is embarrassingly small. They really need to get the electronic artists in the industry as a whole to cast the nominations.

Speaking of Viadrina, I DJed a Halloween party, and this dude came running up to me while I was playing Trevino - Derelict (which I adore), raving about what a great track it was and that he had the perfect tune to lead into it: Viadrina - Luna (Coat of Arms Remix). As luck would have it, he had a little MP3 stick with him that had the track on it! As MY luck would have it, the dude WOULD NOT LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE until I played the track. So I did, begrudgingly, to get him off my nuts, but fuck he was so wrong about that track. The dude didn't even notice that I only let it play for about a minute before mixing something else in, he was happy enough to hear just that one minute.

After that, no more requests, ever. I don't care if I have the track, no requests. Just completely kills your flow. I think two-three songs ahead at a time, so to stop all that for one song is just awful.

Ahahaha, that's awesome. A place I used to go to almost 10 years ago had a sign up "All requests $5". See, if you're playing off 2000s (or 900s) you should just bring an empty USB stick so there's nowhere for people to stick their music.
