Been listening to a lot of Gifted & Blessed lately. On a similar tip, sounding like vintage Red Planet, BFC / Psyche, UR.

Christ almighty, I think I've rediscovered a genre. Does this kind of stuff still come out regularly and I just haven't been looking, or is it a dying breed of track? By that I mean solid prog, outstanding production, no shitty, cheesy, unnecessary noises... just something to groove along with for a good 7-8 minutes.

Just stumbled across these today:
Stefano Noferini - French Kiss (Original Mix)

and from there, found my way onto these... Paolo Mojo doing the track justice:

A track that's definitely a bit clubbier... but it's *good* clubby. Probably would've been considered "commercial" ten years ago, but not anymore :(

Lil Louis's original was the first house track I heard. Blew my mind at the time, that friggin' breakdown. Probably my favourite house tune ever, still amazed at how well it holds up.

Recently, I heard this awesome house (I think?) track at the local bar, fired up my SoundHound and got this: Huxley - Box Clever
I need any artists/albums/tracks, anything that resembles this, sounds similar, is the same genre.

You have good taste in music and good taste in F1 drivers. I will gladly help out! Not necessarily stuff that may be in the same specific genre, but more "if you like this, you'll probably like this" sorta thing:

Maceo Plex/Maetrik
Miguel Campbell
Andre Crom
Piek & Efron
And some of Tube & Berger's stuff.
Jacques Greene was mentioned as well, but out of the tracks I've heard of his, the one I linked to was the only one I really liked (and I suspect our tastes are fairly similar).

There's probably a wider variety of artists I could list, but I need to be able to hear the music to verify it'd fit in with what you're looking for, and I'm at work with crappy work speakers :(

That's okay! You can rest assured that whenever I look like I'm having a go at someone, it's either completely in jest or there is a point behind it, but it's nowhere near as aggressive and pointed as I make it out to be.

Except regarding dubstep and trap. Fuck that shit.
