The LIES output is relentless. I was 50/50 about getting the ADMX one but decided against it at the last moment, now this one pops up! Might still get the ADMX effort, got my hands on the digi which means I can absorb in greater detail that lofi shop snippets.

Oh I forgot. I banged out a mix. Did it really quickly for a TMB.dj thing, so not my usual month after month succession of tweaking. A sequence of electrobreaksrave nonsense.

Often I troll through Bandcamp looking for new stuff to post in the jazz-hop thread and I sometimes come across some pretty good electronica along the way. Is this the right place to post that stuff?

Here's a recent album that I put in my wishlist when it came out and it seems to have been overlooked:

Genre(s): ambient, idm, downtempo, psytrance, world, dub

Had a great selection since GTA3. I used to love belting around in a Yakuza Stinger to Moving ShadowFM. The PSP variant was awesome too, with Moving Shadow doing a load of old school.

Loved GTA4 too, getting Francois K in to do one of the stations. Without a doubt, I always head to the dance stations.

My favourite. If only for this track being on there, a song I was seriously into a few months before it came out (may have even been a year or so). Hands-down Deadmau5' best.

Same-era Rockstar were great back in those days... the soundtrack for Midnight Club LA was equally as diverse, but with *multiple* electronic stations. Soulwax on GTA5 was good to hear, but personally my eyes never lit up like they did when I first heard No Pressure play over the radio.

MSX FM is the greatest. Back when I first played GTAIII I thought it was just "upbeat reggae" or something because I mistook the DJ for being Jamaican. A mistake that I continued to make when hearing British dnb MC's. But that and K-Jah where my favorite stations.

Rockstar really has proven their chops when it comes to the sounds that drive a games atmosphere. Currently playing RDR and It's been years since I've been so drawn into a games setting and tone.

Beautiful work, I ended up having a dream last night about the games sounds because I watched this before going to bed.

Don't care for Slow Dance, but the Dodger Stadium album is amazing. Might wear out quickly, but damn if it isn't the perfect summer soundtrack at the moment.

rinsefm Hyperdub mix (Almost entirely Teklife footwork)

Cosmology [Cosmic Bridge] compilation drops on the 21st. Been looking forward to this.

Some really random EQ on that Shanghai Den EP. Bits where it just cuts the bass in and out unexpectedly. Not sure it is in a good way either. At first I wondered if my headphones were going.

I love that sort of stuff. It's being done as a poly-rhythm so it's not as sporadic as you think, It just doesn't loop more than twice in a sequence. Outside of those bars it's just clear cut sections where the mids are isolated.

Trying to get back to the instrumental/glitch-hop genre, so dunno if it's worth asking here, but can anyone recommend any music that's remotely similar to this tune?

Demokracy - Wintermute (Dies Irae Remix)

I rediscovered it today in my collection and fell in love again.

Russia! My specialty!

Well, follow Mott from that group, 1st of all. Generally, check out Fuselab, Project Mooncircle, LuckyMe, Hyperboloid, Error Broadcast, Ritmo Sportivo, How2Make, Gimme 5, and other like that.

Dza is my favorite of them. His collaboration with Kidkanevil is more like that http://how2make-rec.bandcamp.com/track/scarecrow , but Big Bang is his best-ever. http://how2make-rec.bandcamp.com/track/fluffernutter-813-remix Speaking of Kidkanevil: http://projectmooncircle.bandcamp.com/track/sgstep Pixelord is my 2nd favorite: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpQqkn07Xnc Opal Block also likes video games: http://astralblack.bandcamp.com/track/kickin-the-moon-across-the-sky 96wlld is my favorite Lithuanian musician: http://store.error-broadcast.com/track/bruce-willis

There are others like Monokle, Moa Pillar, Kulakostas, and Nocow that aren't quite that, but try Mujuice, 1 of my 3 favorite musicians working today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKxLss7-HDM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fag2w_dTisc

I'll have to give it another try. I was mid commute and trying to navigate a manic train station when I had it on.
