Not exactly news from the show, but still some news - Square Enix opened their Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII PlayOnline site.
There are some screenshots from the online multiplayer version, along with information about the beta test. Also, I don't get something - if this is the info about a PC version... Then we're waiting for a PC version, too? Look at those requirements! 233MHz, and 128MB RAM. That's what, three times lower processor power than in FFXI?

some kind of cluster-fuck probably none of us will ever know the full extent of. Hell, if I were Square-Enix, I'd make damn sure the details of this disaster never slipped out.
It took Square less time to transition between SNES (FFVI) to PSone (FFVII)- and that was learning brand new hardware, working with the CD medium for the first time, and also establishing a relationship with a new supporter- Sony... all on top of making a $20 million dollar game.
For a game that was originally planned to be released in the summer of 2004, missing the mark by almost 2 years is just ridiculous. I don't even think DQVII was delayed as much.
I doubt we'll get a FFXIII teaser trailer @ TGS now... but then again, Square did show off FFIX and X (& announced FFXI, as well as showed concept art) all during their Millenium Conference at the beginning of 2000.
There better be an assload of FFXII media at this event. This is all starting to feel like a big joke.

Remember how crazy the forum got when the website launched months later and first true screenies and info emerged beyond this teaser poster? Man that was a long time ago.

It hasn't shown up on the net yet but Kingdom Hearts 2's trailer is 8 minutes long according to reports. New FF characters include
Raijin, Seifer and Fujin.

Not a thing is new there. The SE Party site mentions some updates but nothing major, just site updates for Dirge of Cerberus & Grandia III.

I'm a big FF whore, but I guess I'm lucky in that I've mostly avoided following FF XII. Not wanting to run into spoilers and never seeing the release date get really close, the fact that it's now expected in less than 8 months seems like an improvement to me.

First of all, media hasn't even come out yet. Come on.
