The Order: 1886 Delayed Into 2015. [Stop talking about MS lineup]

Ouch. Well that's more or less when I was planning on buying a PS4 (yay tax returns!) so it doesn't affect me at all but sucks for the rest of you guys.
 
So we first-party exclusives do we have for PS4 this Fall/Winter? Just Driveclub? The rest are third-party titles.

However...I am a patient person so if it means it will make the game better then by all means delay it. Just hope it delivers, am pumped for this game. :(
 
Mehh, I never get upset about delays. Weird thing to get bitchy about. At the end of the day, its only making the game better.
 
It's official, then: Sony has serious problems in managing their teams, right now.
Ok, there's certainly going to be something else (E3?), but...the current picture isn't that rosy >_>
 
So talking strictly exclusives. Definitely this year we have previous launch title Driveclub and PS3 remaster TLOU. Are we expecting they have something major up their sleeve for this year to reveal at E3? Wouldn't we already know about it by now?
 
This is very disappointing. I just got a ps4 and i'm enjoying Infamous, but the exclusives on the horizon are few and far between.

Kind of disappointing. I know it will result in a better game, so I'm glad they're taking the time, but it does cut down on the games I'll get to play this year. Then again, there are enough of those to keep me busy, anyway.

Game looks great now, hopefully this delay makes it even better.

What would you have them do. Rush out an unpolished game? Keep wasting money on a dead-end project at SSM? As much as delays and cancellations suck for the end-user, they are preferable to unfinished and broken products.
 
If it makes the game better so be it. Disappointing but there's still plenty to play. For all "concerned", don't worry, Sony will still easily outsell the X1. The Order getting delayed won't affect that

Lol. Two games have been delayed, and both will result in better product. That's good management.

I don't think a decent launch racing sim, with instances of decent free DLC so far, can be seen as MS releasing half-baked games to beat Sony to the punch.

Also, I believe Sony has a lot riding on the reputation given to it by the media and gamers and its own specs. Yes, the PS4 is easier to develop for, yes, it is more powerful (by how much in real time settings, we don't know yet), but there have been a couple of multi-plat developers who've come out and stated that Sony has made it part of their PR that 1080p or focus on performance is fundamental.

I expect more delays, but if it means great looking titles that play well, so be it.
 
Im fine with this.

What im not really fine with is those 'gamers' who yell boohoo delaystation trollolol...
u'd rather play half assed, rushed and not finished buggy games?

Next to my ps4 i got a wii u and ps3 / 360 / pc / complete retroconsole lineup to keep me busy with... but heh. we cant be all awesome like me.

I wonder if Sony will feel the need to tease games a little further out, to counter concerns that they don't have any games and get the hype going again?

We all saw this coming. Fortunately, I will enjoy my multiplatform games on PS$ like UFC, Batman, NBA 2K, Call of Duty etc etc.

Waiting till E3 to decide when the right time to jump into the realm of Xbox One
 
Sony better be showing some first party titles at e3 cause this fall driveclub aint gonna be cutting it as the flagship game on ps4
 
I'm disappointed, because I really really wanted to play The Order this year. Oh well, I'm happy that they have more time to polish it up and make it better than it would be if they released it this year. I just hope to God that Sony has a surprise game lined up for later this year that they are waiting for E3 to show off. The end of this year is looking rather bleak.

Actually, that's a thought: Do Sony *or* Microsoft have any small-scale first party downloadable titles lined up? I can't think of any, but I might have missed them.

If nothing else, they could really do with a few NES Remixes, Banjo-Kazooie HDs or Pushmos to flesh out the lineup.
