I was thinking, maybe is too soon to talk about a sequel, but imagine if the order 1XXX will be what uncharted 2 was for uncharted 1. They will definitely improve gameplay mechanics and add things that couldn't put in 1886, including a multiplayer/coop mode, improve graphics and maybe physics (mindblow)... who knows about how the story will evolve.

Yeah,the 20th is too far away.

I agree. All the time they spent building the engine can instead be devoted to extra content for the next game. Although after that order video, it appears they are considering 1986 or 1996.

What's great about it: Filled with real diamonds
What's not so great: Could have been filled with more diamonds
At first I was hesitant to pick up such an expensive cable for my new HDTV. My wife pleaded with me saying "Why are you spending more money on the cables than you did on the TV?" Well who has the last laugh now?
When I first opened the packaged I was surprised how heavy the AudioQuest Diamond 3.3' High-Speed HDMI Cable was, it almost pulled the TV down off of the wall, but I assumed that was just quality manufacturing. A few hours later when the shear weight of the cable brought my television (along with the wall mount and drywall) crashing to the floor did I really see the value of the AudioQuest Diamond 3.3' High-Speed HDMI Cable.
When I sifted through the rubble I noticed the HDMI cable had been ripped and diamonds were poring out onto the floor! I quickly scooped them up and brought them to the nearest pawn shop! I was told the diamonds had a value close to $25,000 but since they needed to be framed and would sit around the shop for a while we negotiated down to $1500, an almost $500 profit!
I spend my days now going from Best Buy to Best Buy in search of more AudioQuest Diamond 3.3' High-Speed HDMI Cable. My pawn shop guy continues to buy the loose diamonds from me, it's a wonderful arrangement. I think I'm going to be able to afford a PS4 and Xbox One for Christmas this year!

Is the free theme you get from The Order site a dynamic theme? Anybody know more about it? It looks like it could be better than the current paid one on the Store.

that doesn't matter either, hdmi is futureproof and that includes the cables, the. Only thing 1.x defines is the chip behind the hdmi port on your device.

No such thing as a 1.3 cable or 1.4, it's all marketing bullshit
 
I'd quite like to see the next be The Order: 1889. Maybe there's some kind of significance for the turn of the century, and the Lycans are trying to perform a ritual that removes their dependency on the full moon, or something.

Really hope this sells well and get's reviewed well. I mean I loved Killzone SF and LBP3, but I know I'm in the small minority and I just really hope that it doesn't take till Bloodborne for the PS4 to get a well recieved exclusive. :(

Though to be fair Second Son/First Light weren't recieved bad.

I used my friends as a petri dish for casual gamer's response-- ain't nobody here in UK know about Bloodborne or even heard of Souls @_@

Yes, but there are cables that are certified for higher bandwidths than others...the old Cat 1 (standard) and Cat 2 (high speed) specifications really just meant that the Cat 2 cables had been tested and certified to carry a certain bandwidth...the Cat 1 cables likely would have been just fine, but if its certified as Cat 1 it wasnt tested to carry the higher bandwidth...

you COULD make cheaper cables out of lesser quality materials that (in theory) would pass a Cat 1 certification, but fail a Cat 2 certification...

this is probably not gonna be an issue until you push past ~15ft cable length...

after HDMI 1.4 we still use Standard and High Speed (with or without ethernet)...just as before its about the certification process...and if youre running cables less than 15ft or so, just about any HDMI is gonna be fine...but the "High Speed" certification is a guarantee that its gonna work with things like 4k...

Gallahad walking through Teslas's laboratory and testing a few things. You get to see a lot of his inventions.
The material work in the game is amazing. You can see every detail of every object.

I will lose so many hours just exploring in this game. lol
 
Next friday, pending some shifts changing for me, i'll be attending official Sony presentation of the Order 1886 for Portugal (for internal customers). Some producers from RAD will be attending aswell.

I'll obviously post my impressions somewhere here, but is it worth it asking stuff for you guys or just checking stuff you want me to check?

Did this for a portuguese forum back when i went to the PS4 presentation. It was fun.
