I do believe this to be an acceptable list of awesome. Feel free to add screens of your favorite games/moments, and, you know, shit.

I see FF12 and GT4 and the games aren't even out yet :lol
Hey, I didn't list FF12. I did list GT4, but that's out next week. I was going to list Tekken 5 and DMC3, too, but EB and GS only had shots with bonus items in them.

Anyway, this year is almost certainly going to be one of the best for PS2 software IMO. God of War, Devil May Cry 3, Gran Turismo 4, Tekken 5, Final Fantasy XII, Rise of the Kasai, Okami, and Wanda and the Colossus should all be fantastic.

Boxarts are so boring.

You should have done a thread like mine with screenshots.
You are boring, too. :)

But anyway, I suggested for people to post screens of favorite games/moments. But hey, box arts are nice too.

I just got this - why didn't anybody tell me this game kicked so much ass?

I was playing the multiplayer challenges last night and I couldn't get the smile off of my face.

I've been feeling nostalgic for my Goldeneye and PD, so this is the perfect substitute. This has restored my faith in my PS2 for multiplayer!

A lot of those games are really mediocre at best.

Shinobi? Castlevania LoI? Star Ocean? Manhunt? Meh.

Meanwhile, no love for Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne? No love for R-Type Final? Fatal Frame 1 and 2?

WHOA whoa whoa whoa.

This was posted not once, but TWICE?!

Ring of Red made your typical SRPG seem like F-Zero multiplied by BurnOut. That game was programmed in molasses and had completely asstastic production and average graphics. I completely bought into the game and loved it for the first 10 or so hours. However, I had to take it behind the shed and send it back to EB for fear of muscle atrophy if I played any longer.

I agree with about 75% of what's been show, but will give a much deserved second mention to
