Matsui is such a terrible fielder. Not only does he wish he was sexy like Ichiro, he wishes he played Grade A defense like Ichiro.
Well, I'm from New Jersey (which pretty much puts me solidly in Yankee territory), but my first home was in Queens and one set of grandparents are from Long Island. So I have no reason to hate the Mets. They are my number 2 team, yes, and it's not like I'm a huge Mets fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I like to see them succeed, just as I like to see most New York teams to succeed (except for the fucking Islanders...they can go to hellMiguel said:

its one thing to just root for a team cause they are from your hometown, and you'd rather see a New York team win than Boston. But its another thing to talk shit like you ARE a Yankee fan just because its become convenient.

I wasn't talking about you dude. You don't have to HATE the other NY team...but being a fan of both is pretty suspect...especially if you're a mets fan first...and are pretending to be a big time Yankees fan like Kuroyume.
