So many good episodes listed. I watched 22 Short Films About Springfield last night. Skinner and Chalmers scene is one of the funniest scenes in all of The Simpsons run.

It might not be the popular opinion but I'm partial to season 8. There's so many episodes in that season that I just love from the bottom of my heart, including You Only Move Twice, which is my personal favorite episode in the series.

Like...man. I can understand why people would think season 3/4/6 ect are better, but to me these are just the episodes that as soon as they're done, I can just hit replay instantly and enjoy them just as much. Nearly the entire season has such strong character development surrounding such interesting premises. And of course, is just funny as shit.

I can vaguely remember having seen something a while ago that made me think "So that's where they got that from!" but I can recall it clearly what it was.

I've always laughed at the Rory Calhoun joke but I've never understood it. Does anyone know the reference?
I think the joke is that it is just an old actor to joke how out of date Burns is. Groening wanted to ruin that joke by getting someone more recognizable for it. Groening still thinks he is correct on that argument.
