The Simpsons |OT2| It's a pornography thread- We were posting pornography

Eddie: Hey, Chief. I have an idea. Why don't we check out that suit Burns was wearing when he was shot?

Chief Wiggum: Did you have the same dream with backwards-talking dream with the flaming cards?

Eddie: .....I'll drive.

There are so many great ones... It's like choosing among a pile of golden coins.

But if I had to pick one, it would be barbershop quartet.

So I'm curious, what's everybody's favourite episode ever? If I had to pick one I'd probably go with Homer Badman.

One of my favourites too. The whole section in the candy convention and Kent Brockman were fantastic. I have the gummy Venus De Milo tattood on my butt cheek. It rarely sees the light of day!

damn... i wanted to compile a list of episodes i hold dear in some way, but already found more than 30 in the first 5 seasons... this post would become too long :D

"Bart of Darkness". It's not the funniest episode ever, but it has a great balance of humor, pacing, and atmosphere, on top of having one of my favorite musical scores in the series. It's one of the earliest episodes I remember watching as a kid too, and totally plucks a summer-time nostalgia nerve every time I watch it.

i absolutely love the last scene of the episode, where martin stands naked in his garden (that sounds kinda wrong) ...the whole scene, the sunset, the music... always gives me a good feeling.

I'm partial to Summer of 4 Ft. 2
I like you.

It's my personal favorite too... although if you were to hold a gun to my head and ask me what episode is technically "the best" as opposed to the one I simply enjoy re-watching the most I'd still have to go with Last Exit to Springfield.

...They have the plant, but we have the power.

also the joker-surgeon-scene-replica is just perfect.

I cannot choose between The PTA Disbands and King-Size Homer.

They each have moments that make me laugh so much more than any other Simpsons episode.

I like you.

Not only it's funny, it's also one of the most charming and heatwarming episodes. The holidays at the beach setting is pefect. Also Milhouse in the middle of the war between Lisa and Bart.
I usually don't like Lisa episodes, especially the ones when "she's popular" but it might be the only of those I love.

Last Exit is also in my favourites but I feel like it's more smart than funny. Don't get me wrong, it's still hilarious but a lot of the jokes are pretty referenced I guess.

We should have a thread poll for our favourite episodes, that might give interesting results.

I think 22 short stories about Springfield is my favorite episode. It has everything that makes the Simpsons at its pick a joy to watch.

My favorite episode is Bart's Comet. It's a pretty perfect episode right in the middle of season 6 (my favorite season). The last act with all of Springfield crammed in Ned's bomb shelter is possibly my favorite scene ever.

I've also always loved this bit (could only find crappy quality off-screen clip on youtube).

This. The Aurora Borealis exchange maks me roll every damn time.

The undisputable best Simpsons joke is "Lisa, in this house we obey the laws of Thermodynamics!" though.

I have to give props to Kamp Krusty. Just about every joke hits it.
"Krusty brand seal of approval" "Careful, it gets really hot if you leave it plugged in for too long"
"Don't be the boy, don't be the boy" *it's the boy* "D'OH!" *loses new hair and gains his gut*
"Krusty brand imitation gruel. 9 out of 10 orphans can't tell the difference"
"Bart, I feel like I'm going to die" "We're all going to die Lis" "I meant soon" "So did I..."
Mr. Black poorly dubbing over Krusty.
"Yeah, we want Crunchy!"
"Lisa, you're hurting me!"
"Next summer, I'm getting a job"
"I just wanted to say this was a really crappy camp. Can I say that on TV?" "You can on this network"

My favorite episode would have to be Lemon of Troy. I love parallel universe stories, and while Shelbyville isn't exactly a parallel universe, it mostly fits the trope.
