I quite liked the music, but I couldn't deal with the vocals. It got fairly cheesy fairly quickly.
6/10
Santigold - Disparate Youth
I love Santigold's voice. Good song 8/10
CryWolf - Swimming In the Flood
I quite liked the music, but I couldn't deal with the vocals. It got fairly cheesy fairly quickly.
6/10
Santigold - Disparate Youth
6/10 (above average, goodish). There's something in it that i like but hard to pinpoint it.
Celtic Woman The Voice
Not really my style, but I can appreciate the technical proficiencies going on there.
6/10
Mine:
Wintersleep-In Came the Flood
Pretty fun. Not a fan of the lead singer's voice, but it works. 8/10
Lowercase Noises - "The Things Your Eyes Have Seen"
7/10. I like it. Violins are good. EDIT uh, i wonder, was that my highest rating yet... 7 is good from me EDIT listened some others by the same artist: Good stuff
EDIT gotta up the rating to 7.5/10
EDIT fuck, upping it to 8/10. Like it that much.
Nightwish Nemo
Arghhh! Noise! Feedback! Big fat riffage! Snarling vocal!
I liked it man, just up my street.
9/10
The Coral - Music At Night
It is over five minutes which is usually my cut off, but it kind of needs to be a little longer than usual. It's sounds like a journey to me, I'm not sure if you'll get the same thing, but it sounds like the credits tune for a movie or something.
I really dug this. I can see what you mean by the music for credits comment. Has a very retro vibe that reminded me of The Animals. 9/10. Will definitely be looking into more of their stuff.
Here's mine:
M.Ward - Me & My Shadow
Not digging the vocals, would have much preferred it as an instrumental. Really liking the excessive feedback in the mini solo towards the end. Pretty cool and moody, though. 7/10.
My turn - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQLeDhqUiAQ&list=PL75FE74B84557E077

I know their not a very obscure band, but I've been on a Killers stint lately.
Thank you Stephen A Smith
Bad Rabbits - Get up and Go
Such a tune I can't believe I've never heard it. So good.
dig the instrumentals, the vocals are really not my type of thing :S
deafheaven - dream house
Nice, I really liked their previous album and I want to listen to this one but it's not yet on Spotify. Reminds me of envy a bit on the vocals, seems like this one has a sort of positive tone to it...
I'll follow up with a black metal band I discovered recently and that blew my mind when I saw them at Roadburn, possibly my favourite black metal band at the moment
Fell Voices
Well I wasn't expecting that. I'm not a fan of AC, but that didn't even sound like them. I got that it was a parody, but it wasn't very funny. I dunno, without the intended humour, it's just a bland ballad sang really poorly.
kojak is allways a good choice in lounges. 8/10
La Caution - Thé à la Menthe (laser dance version)
I liked it even though it's not the kind of music I tend to listen to.
I was crossing some posts on FB with a friend when I remembered about Senser. I liked their album "Stacked Up" soooo much as a kid. I still do.
Senser - No Comply
Bonus songs! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmxMSx3sP9c https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIZ3BrvLSqk
8/10. Airborne are a great band, even if they simply exist as the Boba Fett to AC/DC's Jango Fett.
Lights at Sea - "Be Silent"
The Vandals - I don't really like the tin can soundstyle. But I can dig the raw energy 7/10.
Electric Wizard-Satanic Rites of Drugula
Electric Wizard is always good, of course Saw them live recently and it was crazy.
I doubt many people know this band, but their record "Alter" might be one of my favorite rock records ever. Classy stuff.
Pleasure Forever - This is the zodiac speaking
Uhm, kind of dig it, i'll probably listen to it again. 4/5.

Adam Hurst - Drone + Cello; Gipsy composition.
Beautiful. I really wish I had that kind of talent. 8/10.
Vast - Dirty Hole
http://youtu.be/6x7UuxCB7vw
Found my self quite entertained by this song, though it may feel a bit long in some parts. 8/10
The Notwist - Your Signs
I dig it. Sounds like it would make a great song for a trailer of a kickass movie. 7/10
Found this song in a show I just watched today. It's been on repeat ever since!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcLAFym6MBI
I found the song quite boring, to be honest.
Here's something I consider fun. Another great RnR record, Rye Coalition's "On Top"
Rye Coalition "One Daughter Hotter than 1000 suns"
I thought this was going to be pretty bad, but right away it caught me off guard. I didn't like the vocals when i first heard them, but I got used to it. Overall it was pretty good.
7/10
Lassigue Bendthaus - Jealous Guy
I thought this was going to be pretty bad, but right away it caught me off guard. I didn't like the vocals when i first heard them, but I got used to it. Overall it was pretty good.

Lassigue Bendthaus - Jealous Guy
Not really my style at all. Vocals are not my cup of tea. Rest is nice. 7/10
Didn't work for me because German copyright is stupid. So I'll go with this:
Not really my style at all. Vocals are not my cup of tea. Rest is nice. 7/10
Hot Chip - Look At Where We Are (Major Lazer vs Junior Blender Remix)
that's dope, i listened it so many times last summer. i believe the song is free downloadable at soundcloud.
9/10
Around The Bend - The Asteroids Galaxy Tour
Sounds like something I would listen to. I shall continue to follow them 8/10
We Were Promised Jetpacks- Roll Up Your Sleeves
Could at least explain why...
