Bit strange but I like hearing different stuff. 7/10, really wish the bitrate wasn't so bad on that upload.
When The Sinner - Michael Kiske
Cover of an old Helloween song from the lead singer. His solo work has always been incredible.
Loved dark tranquility in high school. Awesome song, 8/10
Check out haven if you haven't already. It's a neat album, particularly the song called frabic
brontide - arioso
9/10, really good song. Right down my alley.
and ya, even DT's newest album is really great.
Alkaline Trio - I Held Her in my Arms
A good cover.
On a side note, I'd like to post Moongarden - Flesh but there is barely any Moongarden on youtube I've never seen this song on any streaming sites.
Listened to that whole DT song and found that you responded to it already lol. Was good though!
For this Alkaline Trio joint, really solid. I'd give it a 7/10. Has a rocking country feel to it that I dug.
For my entry:
Jupiter One - Countdown
Ummm, it's ok. Well atleast the tempo is upbeat. They look really young lol.

It sounds good, but I don't think it really adds much to the original. 7/10
Lupe Fiasco - Dumb it Down
Nice change of peace from what I was hearing, some nice samples in there, not a fan of the vocals though, still a pretty good song. 7/10
Steven Wilson - Luminol
Insane long intro, but I liked the transition from active to mellow to active again. 7/10
Sun hands- Local Natives
6/10.

Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross and Karen O - Immigrant Song (yeah, the one for the Fincher movie).
I think it's a nice cover, and it's one of the good things to come out of that movie.
6.5/10. The vocals don't do much for me, but overall it's not bad.
300 violin orchestra- Jorge Quintero
Kind of repetitive, but it's a decent violin riff. 6/10
James Hunnicutt - Long Black Veil / My Wayward Bride
Basically a classic cover with an original song added on to compliment it. Quite possibly one of the best versions of Long Black Veil I've heard.
Its well done. Great cover! 8/10
This video is very, very strange. But it fits very well with the song and has an interesting retro feel to it.
Stars- We Don't Want Your Body
Well I couldn't help but chuckle through that video, but the music is not my style. 6/10
Here is some classic rock/metal you probably never heard.
Trapeze - Jury
Let's go with Magnum - All the Dreamers
Eh. I don't know if I'm just sick of classic rock or what but I didn't really enjoy this. I mean if your gonna have a 7 minute song, at least have 2 of crazy shreddage or something. That same four chord guitar riff got a bit old. I did like the vocals though which is unusual because I usually hate classic rock vocals (they all sound the same). And for some reason there was only one drum beat back then.
5/10
Lets try...
Always by Panama
Strong 7/10 really pleasant, pretty predictable but still a good tune. Has a nice progression.
We Versus the Shark - You Don't Have to Kick It
They sound pretty good, I'm gonna have to check the rest of that album out. 7/10
Brontide - Limehouse Ink
4/10 It's hard for me to get into that twanging tin sound. Though it got interesting 2/3rds through when it got a bit of an Island sound to the string warping.
Isaac Albeniz - Asturias
dude wtf was that 0/10 i felt like i was in hell
this songs a pretty sick, club song.

This is really, really good. I didn't know what to expect, but I loved it. I might check out more of the soundtrack, despite not being a Dune fan. 8/10
I really didn't like this at all, I'm sorry. Just not too much a fan of club music myself. 4/10
I know this probably won't be received too well, but to hell with it:
Close to the Edge by Yes
I've fell in love with Close to the Edge recently after getting The Studio Albums 1969-1987 for Christmas. I've heard Close to the Edge before and liked it, but it really grew on me the more I listened to it. I just love this song way too much! It's prog rock at it's finest.
8/10.
I liked her voice, and especially liked the music and general tone of the song.
I generally don't much care for lyrics, so i wouldn't know about those.

Chromatics - Night Drive
Nice background music, and I don't mean that as an insult. I was just waiting for it to do something? 6/10
I tend to like more abrasive tunes. My choice.

Nice music and good energy.
7/10.

Looptroop Rockers - Fly Away
The music sampling kind of reminds me of Nujabes' stuff.
11/10 I LOVE IT.
I needed some new hip hop in my life. Really dig the hook.

Not my favorite kind of music, but still nice. I've been finding myself enjoying the kind of 'segmented' songs like this that change the mood ala 5:10 mark. Don't know how to describe that better, haha. I'd say 6.5/10

This thread seems to be just what I need for finding new music
9/10.
Sad to say Arcade Fire doesn't really do anything for me at all anymore.
Einstürzende Neubauten - Blume
In case the video's muted
Musically really cool. I dig the 60's stoner rock simple riff. Seeing a three piece outfit is always nice to see for a change. The only thing I wasnt a big fan of was the dudes voice; just a bit too whiney. All in all cool though. Sweet solo too.
7/10

Sorry, I really didn't like that at all. I just found it boring and cheesy. I hate German vocals too, it's such an ugly sounding language.
2/10
Cinemechanica - Hero/Protagonist
I actually agree with you on the voice, easily the most annoying part of the band.Musically really cool. I dig the 60's stoner rock simple riff. 5/10.Pretty boring imo. Sounds like a college band, which isn't the worst thing ever, but there are just no new or remotely interesting ideas here and there is no genuine emotional charge. Pandering and pointless song.
2/10
Hildegard Knef - Im achtzigsten Stockwerk
Kinda sounds like "Are You Strong Enough to Be My Man." Too dreamscape-y for my liking. 4/10.

I saw some of their other songs here, but not this one yet: HAIM - The Wire
