The only game I've played that I thought was too buggy to be playable was fallout:new vegas on Xbox 360, It is also the first and only game I've ever taken back to the shop to request a refund for (what was granted too)

This game pissed me right off. Got really far into it on the series X but then whenever I went to the east side of the map it locked up, it happend on every save too so the whole game was knackered
Never played it since. Piece of time wasting shit!

Jokes aside, I played the game at launch on my Series X and had a fairly good time.
Yes, it was full of bugs (probably more than any other game I've ever played) but a fair amount of the story missions and side content was enjoyable enough.
Mind you, I didn't have extremely high expectations to begin so all the shortcomings didn't really bother me at all.

That's because it mostly is. They've been spending a lot [and I do mean a LOT] of time on bugfixes, most specifically quest-related. It's astonishing how many quests were bugged at launch.
There barely have been any quality of life improvements.

I like how these videos are only made for views even tho he knows nothing has been patched since the previous video. The state of cyberpunk should be done after a huge patch. We've seen these bugs and shit a million times move on already.

I think the game runs pretty good on PC. So far the biggest problem i have with it in terms of visuals/performance is that the draw distance is too low, pop-ins are really noticeable when you're driving.

This game has the top spot for Biggest Shitshows in Gaming for me, followed by Arkham Knight on PC and AC Unity. The thing is, these two games seem completely fine when compared to CP2077.
Gotta congratulate CDPR for their effort, had countless bugs, some which meant losing 2 or 3 hours of progress, not to mention the incredible number of 60 crashes across 40h of playtime on the PS5 version.

I played this game and gave it a chance on PC too. Might be a foreign concept to you but there's some gamers out there who enjoy customisation in open world games. Changing color of your gun? There's more to weapon customization than just changing the fucking color lol

I come back after a major patch or two and try to make it "click" it never happens, but I paid £50 for this fucking mess from a developer I once respected... I think unless something uttely radical drops then I'm done now.

I enjoyed it enough to chug through it on a ps4 pro. Will definitely do at least one more playthrough when/if they ever release a native ps5 version.
Guess I lucked out when it came to crashes/bugs. Only had one actual crash, and one bug where a key item spawned inside level geometry and I had to redo the mission.
Performance was definitely a shitshow, but it was perfectly playable.

It's still shit. I turned it on and it has very annoying character pop-in that happens like 5 feet away from my character. Until that goes away I will not consider the game to be "fixed"

So tired of the conquest against this game. Bought the ps4 version day 1, decided to wait for the nextgen patch and I couldn’t care less about the hyperbolic bitching and can’t wait for it to be released
Hardly. Other than a spike in November (I'm guessing maybe a sale or something) CP2077 almost consistently has 10-20K players at any time. I have been tempted to reinstall to continue my STREET KID second playthrough on PC, though I am waiting to do that with a nextgen patch on the PS5.
. . .if the last gen versions of the game did not exist, we'd not the beating of this pile of goo that used to be a horse every few weeks or so.

You and me both! Easily one of the most enjoyable games I've played in like 5-10 years. I've encountered like two bugs and one crash. Sure, there's room for improvement but I think it's an amazing game on PC. At least 9/10 for me, such a great experience.

I played for like 4 hours and i had one npc (the guy who try to hack the computer in the church when you save their asses) having his subs text stuck on one line, the dog blocked in a place and i had to re-load the save to unlock him, an enemy stuck underground ( i mean half of his body was stuck) and the general jankiness during combat\interactions with npcs that any bethesda rpg has.
People to this day still say that you need some mods to make the game a good experience, i tried with the vanilla version and fastely regretted.
