The press conference and this was good stuff
that press conference was amazing. Dana getting pissed at Ariel, Nick asking GSP if he's ever had a gun pointed at him, Nick saying GSP is a roider, and basically saying he's still smoking weed.
GSP trying to copy Nick makes him look scared.

He is very insistent with questions that create beef between fighters and goes after em even if the interviewee is uncomfortable (e.g. Rampage or Diaz). Can be good and bad.

Just rewatched GSP vs Condit. All I can assume is a lot of MMA fans here like to whine a lot about GSP. Condit had a hell of a streak in the third round, but other than that he cannot touch GSP's technique and physicality. For all the bitching, GSP will not change his style to appease haters at the risk of losing.
Also, Diaz's comments make me really, really hope GSP gets the TKO.

We dislike his new style because we know he has a ton of talent. He just doesn't choose to use that talent to try to finish people.

Nick Diaz is the saltiest loser in the entire sport. If he loses to GSP you can bet your life he'll complain about the sport being infested by athletes and not true martial artists and its not the same anymore and most likely he probably will retire (and come back again).

I think its more likely GSP can make him retire by LNPing him than beating him up. Everyone is talking about Diaz being GSP's head. I think the opposite is true. I think Diaz is already angry about the prospect of being LNPed and when it happens he's gonna have a melt down. I'm guessing by the third round he'll basically have given up.
And don't get me wrong. I don't want this to happen. I'm rooting for Diaz. I'm just predicting that this is what will happen.

I hope the Condit-Hendricks match is an all war with Condit winning but Hendricks putting in such a great performance that he gets the title shot anyways. The main event is going to be a GSP GnP 5 round session so the Condit-Hendricks fight needs to be epic.

EVERY fighter says a lot of things before every fight. "Oh yeah, it's gonna be a stand up war between us" actually means we're gonna grapple and lnp because we're afraid of each others fists.

They allow 1lb overage.
In non-title fights.
For non title fights you are allowed to be up to 1 pound over, so he is fine.
