It is ironic how there could be income tax on Bentley bodies coming from the factories in Germany where they're made.
Mini is also BMW owned and Vauxhall is intertwined with Opel (GM)

If the union held the opinions of all the countries in it equal they wouldn't have this mess.
For some reason the whole of UK voted as a single entity. Two out of four countries (plus London) voted to remain, and they should have the right to veto.
Seems to me that the nation is run by schoolboys from London's elite schools. Why would they give a damn about the rest of UK?

This is so painful. That so many people's futures were put in the hands of these raging luddites. It's democratically wrong to think some people don't deserve a vote but Christ.

Probably, but they just signed a deal to get all their power plants and some electronics from Mercedes-AMG, which just got a bit more complicated. But they are owned by different funds. They are also pretty small.
I can only think of 3 British owned vehicle manufacturers off the top of my head...

We can start a lot of new car manufacturing companies. It's a low risk industry so I'm sure investors will be rushing in to get it going in an economy that's heading to such a great direction.

We used to have a lot of car manufacturers but the Tories gutted British industry for no reason other than some crazy ideas about the economy that didn't work.
