I didnt think it was bad. Unless we're talking about Twin Snakes, where it sounds like everyone was tired of repeating the same dialogue

well with MGS, I had played the japanese version demo that was on the playstation underground disc.

How could I forget that Mei-Ling!? screaming SNAKU? SNAAAAAAAKU!!!!! when I died, it's was awesome, but in her english dubthe VA sounded like she constantly had a hot potato in her mouth...

Now Paramedic's voice is nice.

I couldnt really see any difference in the voice acting between MGS and MGS:TTS

I actually thought mei Lings voice was good.

I also suck at this game badly but I am really enjoying it, I skipped the battle with "the end" though. Couldn't handle it.

Here's my preference:

Eva > The Boss > Para Medic

Eva because she's a trained seductress.

The Boss because she kicks ass at everything.

Para Medic is just an annoying movie buff.

The Boss has my respect over any other chick in this series. But yeah, Eva rocks. And man, I can't get over the graphics whenever I see this game. Especially since I'm going back to playing MGS1. MGS3 is just too damn beautiful. Snake in MGS1's voice acting is a lot more real though, but then again in a way I like how hard he tries in MGS3. It's a defininite staplemark in the series.

meh, I prefer Para-medic. Eva is too trampy and Boss is too much of a dude. Medic is cute and girly. That's just my opinion though.

HOWEVER...the ending of Snake Eater gets me all the time....one tear...

The ending of MGS3 is the reason is why i always think all things should go in chronological order lol. You know Big Boss is going to get the shaft somehow since he ends up going bad heh. It's just like Star Wars, you may not know the exact story of the first 2 movies but by the third you know it's going to involve Darth Vader going to the dark side.

The Boss was a great character but had no chance of being hot, not with that rocking tin foil outfit and woman mullet.

there's actually a brief instant where you see a portrait of a younger Boss done by Shinkawa in game. It's in the montage where it shows her growing up from a little girl to how she is/was.

Not to mention that scar she has on her chest that goes from north to south.

It's not arrogance. I think you didn't quite understand what went on in the ending.
