I thought some of the reviews bashed it for its poor opening chapter, dull storytelling, clumsy combat system with unbalanced difficulty and weak voice voice acting. However, I didn't seen much footage of the game, so I can't say anything about it personally, but maybe some reviewers were just trying to pick apart the game.

Graphically this doesn't look better than W2 on PC *shrugs*. Tribute to open world I guess. I don't care for the franchise at all though so maybe I'm biased.

Some people have bashed lots of games for all these generic things. These aren't specific or useful criticisms.

10/10.....this truly looks and feels like a next generation rpg.

This will be my first Witcher game and so I hope their recap of the story is good since it seems there is a lot of detail in the world. Everything looks amazing but the 1 thing I am cautious on is the combat and how it plays.

Also I didn't know the Witcher series was home to waifu wars lol......

I thought the combat system was the worst aspect of the game. Even then it was totally serviceable. Everything else was amazing as far as I was concerned.

Console gamers... always so sensitive.

Also, not sure what you, as a gamer would get out of playing the game on a particular platform because that's where, hypothetically, the "most sales" will be (which I don't think is a given with this particular title - unless you're combining multiple platforms vs PC, which is what console gamers usually do, so I'm guessing you are...).

I know 60 FPS and better graphics will make for a better, more immersive game...

I didn't know console gamers could play "sales". Are they fun?

WAT? dude go back and play TW2 right now. Sure the game looks great but TW3 looks INCREDIBLE. There is a pretty huge difference.

By the way, if you're new to the series, don't worry, the game will provide you all the information you need to know, and you'll start loving (and battling) characters in no time!

Also you've been asking many questions about gameplay features and we're finally ready to answer some of them:

Yes, you will be able to fight on horseback.
The crossbow. Yup, Geralt has a ranged weapon. Because monsters fly and you can't stab them.
Remember swimming and sailing? You'll be able to dive and search for a lot of hidden stuff too. There's a whole underwater world to discover.
Horse racing anyone?

You also got to hear more music from the game. This particular track was composed by Marcin Przybyłowicz and Percival. We'd love to hear your feedback on our forums, facebook, or twitter etc.

I'm a PC guy going with the PC version. Some of the PC arrogance is a little off putting though. I am always a PC advocate but just as some try to dismiss PC's because of stupid old driver or how hard they are to assemble excuses, there are equal annoyances on the PC side. It will actually probably sell best on PS4 to be more specific. That doesn't mean the PC version won't be best or sell well.

It should be obvious by now that the 360 version came later down the line. This will be a simultaneous launch and I suspect will easily be the best selling Witcher title to date and rather fast. It looks amazing.

People are losing their shit, speculating, and mentioning names of characters, that should give you an idea about its storytelling.

CD Projekt Red is awesome. Got to talk to them during last year's E3. I even had an interview with them but, unfortunately, I lost my cellphone and the recording :/ As I said in the other thread, I asked them what they fought about gaming having such a hard time talking about sex, rape and other social problems (it was during the Tomb Raider "rape" scandal.... that was ridiculous). They said they dont have a problem with it, since it is used in other mediums, like TV and Konrad said if Game of Thrones could show it so games could also talk about it and implement it in the narrative.

I gave them a soccer jersey from my team in Rio de Janeiro lol, Konrad also signed my copy of The Witcher 2 :) http://postimg.org/image/fy0ykqq33/full/

Last time I checked Russia buys more PC games than console games (and that is where their largest audience for this series is)

Unless this is like a huge breakout hit in the US, I would expect PC to still sell more.

is that why witcher 2 sold twice as much on pc than it did on xbox 360? am pretty sure, if antyhing, the hardcore rpg crowd is on ps4 and pc, not xbox. dark souls 1, 2 and wticher 2 proves this.

trust me, this game will sell more on PC because of the respect the community has for CDPR. Believe it or not, this is all it takes for you to get sales on PC. you show your community respect and treat them like rela costumers, and our community will gladly give you the money.

Sure the game looks nice but I don't see much of a step up from W2. Dat hair.

Scale is much bigger though and I am sure that will have a big impact.
