This game is going to be fantastic, hopefully it could be titled the Skyrim of RPGs!
GAF, have ye any thoughts on the identity of the king Geralt is speaking to? Or is it the Nilfgaardian Emperor?
There has to be a flashback scene at some point because at the start of the trailer you hear "there was once many of us" and this is definitely Vesemir and Eskel.
My take on it: early in the trailer they show a keep that looks very similar to Caer Morhen; since we never heard what happened to the other Witchers that dispersed from there, I think there is a good chance we'll see all of them again!
I say this because, while playing TW1, I kept thinking I'd bump into each of them during my quest, but alas it never happened.
So...now that it's obvious I'll be getting this (wow at that trailer) is it worth it for me to go back and pick up Witchers 1 and 2 on PS3 or 360?
TW1 never made it to consoles - in fact, the console port nearly sunk CD Projekt. (The third-party porting it was bleeding CDPR dry.)
Because TW1 is only on PCs, I'd recommend playing on PC so you can import your Witcher saves. The TW1 > TW2 transition works well, it will give you the exact items you had at the end of the game so you can start with some extra stuff. I believe the ending is also reflecting, though I'm not 100% sure. Witcher 3 ought to have the same feature, which should enhance the game significantly. Basically, CDPR do a very good job of making save imports worthwhile, and it really feels like you're importing
your Geralt.
