Is my game bugged?

On The Last Wish quest I'm supposed to search the ship using my witcher senses. I've looked everywhere, but I don't know where exactly I'm supposed to be searching.

Tried
the fallen bookshelf on the lower floor ?

the lesson is I should not believe GAF when they write a threesome is possible and makes me think I can have both and not act like a reasonable human being :(
I have been warning everyone who asked that you get an unpleasant outcome from doing that. So I for one take zero responsibility :p

Some of you people are just freaking horndogs!
That's partly because in the past (books) Geralt left Yen in Vengerberg without saying goodbye which broke her hearth. There's many things that happened in the past with Yen which the game doesn't tell you.
Unfortunately true
There always seems to be a dialog option to pick a fight with her for some odd reason. It's pretty easy to figure out where she's coming from. I found her personality a lot more interesting than Triss' and I enjoyed her pragmatic no BS attitude.

Yen too fierce for some of ya'll
She's way more interesting of a personality! #TeamYen

Winning the final round of Gwent by a single point.

EDIT:

Guys, where do I get Hangman's Oil (+10% vs humanoids) recipe? Found the advanced version, but not the basic one.

Check Keira Metz' basement.

How do formula drop? Are they unique like Witcher sword and armor sets? Can we miss some ? And be screwed? Where is superior lighnining potion?

The word of mouth about Witcher 3 has moved far. My little sister's boyfriend who plays console games sometimes but doesn't follow the media, asked about the game when they came to visit. "Is it really as good as people have been saying?"

"Oh yes, it is"

Now he's considering buying a PS4 for Witcher 3

Nah, she's just like that, towards everyone.
Plus, it's worth noting that while this was happening Yennefer was
also in an equally ill-defined open relationship (at least from her point of view) with another man and kept secretly bouncing between the two even when living with Geralt, ultimately running away from both of them when confronted about it. So, really, any grudge she might hold against him usually makes her look like a hypocrite.

It's been interesting to see people complain about the open world being segmented, I actually wish more games of this type followed suit. I think it helps to add a sense of scale to a world, there's always this weird Disneyworld feel to some open world games where a continent/large region is condensed down into this one area that you can run across in 15 minutes.

I'd love for the next Fallout game to be designed in the same vein, it would actually make it more similar to Fallout 1 and 2 which covered large sections of the west coast rather than just one city. I guess New Vegas with all its DLC included kinda accomplishes this.

I think this game comes close to achieving that sense of scale but it still feels a little too underpopulated.

It is still regions that are supposed to house thousands of civilians and thousands of soldiers that look more like they fit hundreds and everything is still a bit close together.

But that may also be a product of your traveling speed is so fast that it shrinks the world considerably.

Is my game bugged? I am doing the quest Isle of Mists,
I've completed every "brother in arms" quest yet when I sail to the Isle of Mist Geralt says something like "This trek requires a fellowship, I should get on that". What am I missing?

God dammit, long story short, my saves are gone.

Does anyone have any early save files lying around? Either very early into Novigrad or even as far back as starting in Velen. Was hoping to sink my teeth into this game over the weekend, not spend most of my time replaying what I already did.

I went with Roches path in Witcher 2. Saved, Triss, spared Letho.

Double check to make sure you did them, if you did them all it sounds like it's bugged.

Anyone know if the 'Soundtrack Exclusive Tracks' download on GOG is identical to the soundtrack that comes with the retail versions?

Don't quit your day job, Geralt.

e: holy shit, there's a song that starts exactly like one of the Simpsons halloween specials songs starts

LOL.
The troll actually does a much better job painting it
I thought that it would look like a hot mess, but I underestimated his artistic talents.

That's actually a good question. I've been listening to the one from GOG for the past two weeks, and I'm loving it. So if there's a different (better) soundtrack available I need to find it.

Whatever ones you see being sold by alchemist, especially
Keira
, BUY! I've combed through all of Novigrad and haven't come across duplicates of scrolls that they sell. Some enhanced or superior potions and oils you can find are only by purchase from an alchemist.

For instance, basic level
swallow
is obtainable from the herbalist in WO, but I came across the enhanced version in a cave in Novigrad, and the superior version from an alchemist in Skellige.

There's four extra tracks on the downloadable OST.
32. The Fields of Ard Skellig
33. Ladies of the Woods
34. Merchants of Novigrad
35. Hunt Or Be Hunted

do you remember what she sold (the important cant find it in other place stuff)?

damn it, im missing some bombs but got their enchanted and superior version. (also i would like my enchanted thunderbolt pot)

From my recollection,
Keira
sold
vampire oil, dracnoid oil, and some basic bombs.
I wish I could tell you them all, but the strategy guide doesn't list their locations nor who sells them.

I didn't buy those oils and unfortunately I can't craft the enhanced and superior versions because they need their basic level oils for one the ingredients.

Do "treasure hunt quests" give out XP? I think I have the XP bug because I didn't get any for one.

EDIT: Getting XP for main quest/side quest though.... so probably normal.

Pretty sure that
Keira
sold the relict oil. Unfortunately, once you complete the side quest involving her, she'll no longer be Velen to purchase alchemy and scrolls from. Try the
Pellar
and see if he has any of the scrolls you're missing.

Damn, I finished her side quest. I'll check that guy out though, thanks.

To my recollection, no. These ''quests'' award you with pretty decent gear and or diagrams at times.

Alright. Is the side quest "Now or Never"? I just had it pop up, got a feeling it's the one where you choose but I could be wrong.

I'm not very sure as I
've ignored all the romancing bits with her but it seems that way. You could already kiss her at the ball mask in the previous quest.

That goddamn sidequest with Zoltan is frustrating me. I pretty much ignored Gwent (fucking cheaters pulling 5 cards out of their asses and ending the round) till now but
I want to save that poor guy gave from death.
Got my beaten 5/6 times now. It doesn't help that I still don't fully grasp the rules and my deck has quite a few "1" power cards.

Skips intro and recap videos. Installation is a little messy.

It's so good. Straight to main menu. And loading takes 10 to 12 seconds (SSD) to ingame.

You can interrupt the recap videos. Just mash on the space bar (X on 360 controller) and it'll stop the video and go to the game as soon as the map's loaded.

Man, how do I enter Lonruk's tower? It's Northwest in Velen. I don't find any underwater entrance. EDIT: Screw it, I just climbed a wall.
