Will Triss appear at
Kaer Morhen if I didn't kiss her at the party and let her get on the ship without telling her to stay?

Heard back from an email to CDPR... The Get Junior quest bugs involving Roche haven't even been tied down yet, so no luck for next weeks patch. Think I'll just start over....*sigh*

Finally left White Orchard! Damn, I thought that area was big. This new area is freaking massive. I don't know where to start.

I do wish you could abandon or at the very least delist quests. Gwent matches and horse races are cluttering up my already massive quest log and I don't plan on doing any of that stuff.

This is on PS4, I"m curious how the PC version looks:

This is about as close as I could get.

Edit: I should note that I have several .ini tweaks present for expanding draw distance of foliage and shadows, along with a few other things.

I had the same reaction... Seeing all those quest boards pop up... Wowsers.

Quick question: what level were you when you got to Veren (the second area)?

Does anyone remember where the PC/PS4 graphics comparisons are? Not video, but just images.

I'm curious to see how the PC version looks, especially with draw distance, but I cant find anything except videos, which are harder to compare. I saw some images a few days back but didn't really track down what site it was from.

One more just because. Basically foliage quality and distance are the biggest differentiator.

I'm regretting choosing Yen more and more. She treats Geralt like utter garbage almost always.

I chose Triss and all but Yen has always been a sarcastic 'independent woman'. She's even infamous for being an asshole basically haha. But her relationship with Geralt is that more of a married couple whose past the honeymoon phase but still like to flirt.

Anyone else having trouble collecting the Gwent cards? I finally found a bunch of merchants I haven't played, but they aren't giving me any cards. I also looked over a list and can't even figure out which cards I'm missing, so it might be bugged for me.

You can technically ignore them yes. Whichever you ignore you
simply won't be in a relationship with that person
.

well thanks for the heads up anyway, I am tempted to replay the last six hours before the last wish quest. are you sure I can still romance triss after
the unicorn scene?

100% certain as long as you tell
Yen the magic is gone during 'The Last Wish'

and go for it man. You still have a lot to play anyways what's replaying 6 hours?

There always seems to be a dialog option to pick a fight with her for some odd reason. It's pretty easy to figure out where she's coming from. I found her personality a lot more interesting than Triss' and I enjoyed her pragmatic no BS attitude.

Yen too fierce for some of ya'll

well I will just ignore
the last wish quest because I did a reload just to see yen's reaction when you say the magic is gone and it was just heartbreaking :p

Isn't it ridiculous? Haha. This game will literally consume you if you aren't careful.

It's like that Pringles commercial... You can't have just one.

As a madman who plays TW2 7 times, I had way, way too high expectations for TW3. Yet it still manages to surprise me, times and times again, with its high quality quests and world building.

lol. You can just skip through the scene and
she gets over it
decently quick later in the game. Better to make things certain. I have no way of knowing if what I told you about ignoring is 100% guaranteed to work but theoretically it should since that's what those personal quests were designed for.

Last Triss quest spoiler

Some tough choices in that storyline. From whether to kiss or not at the ball and having to choose between saving the two mages or the rest was probably one of the more difficult choices to make ha ha. Later, as I was watching Triss and the mages leave on boat, Gerelt just stood there and a sudden feeling of "I just fucked up" lingered over my head.

If you meant to
romance triss
then that feeling in your head is right. If you didn't want to, then you're fine.

That's partly because in the past (books) Geralt left Yen in Vengerberg without saying goodbye which broke her hearth. There's many things that happened in the past with Yen which the game doesn't tell you.

I haven't finished the books yet but
was that their last meeting in the books? Games suggested otherwise.

Hey Geralt, haven't seen you in forever...how about I make you travel alone from place to place and emasculate you when you get there?

Yen did grow on me, but Triss epitomizes the term 'ride or die'.

Oh, I'm aware. I just still think she treats him like utter garbage even when I made my choice.

If I wanted ruthless and ice cold independence, I'd go for Philippa. She's a much better catch in that regard. Yen is tame in comparison.

$&@% loading times on PS4 and theses gawd damn trial and errors which makes you wait, but it's ok, I had plenty of time to make myself a protein shake...should've went on medium 😩

I guess the best thing to do is turn the minimap off and pop open the big map and memorize the road (or auto pilot with horse)

I think Im just about ready to turn my map off. Finding myself looking at it too often.

Man, i've said it before and i'll say it again. The bloody baron storyline is among the best in gaming, period.

This quest and the surrounding quests are a wild ride. The characters are so well written, and their arcs give them real depth and growth. The emotional impact of this entire quest line was heavy, easily one of my favourite moments in gaming.

Also the Whispering Hillock quest was terrifying. The sense of horror and dread atmosphere was intense. It's stuck with me.
The spirit itself and the crones
, the dialogue and the music,
swimming through the water underneath the tree while the heart beat and the ambient sounds wrapped themselves around me like a strangling root....
really rare something affects me like that.

Amazing, no hyperbole.

damn it, in a small camp that wont go "gray" in the map which usually means there is a chest or something with valuable loot in the camp still, but I cant find anything. and the camp is tiny. this wrecks my OCD :p

Enhanced Starting Armour
-

Can upgrade the base armour and rune slots ate specific level intervals, or transmog Master Griffin so it looks like the starter set.

Doesn't cater for everyone, and it's limited, but it will allow you to use the starter gear at certain points (or if you choose Griffin then when you hit master you're set).

Only a matter of time before someone writes a true transmog mod.
