The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt |OT2| Wanted to find Ciri, but everything Gwent wrong

So it seems I just found about the infamous missing key bug for the persons caged in Velen. After like 20 hours of playing that im not going to do again.
And it seems it locks you out of the gwent achivement.

Anyway to get the key with the cheat engine or spawning object?

Yes both of those events take place before W1. Ciri's grooming in Kaer Morhen takes place in the first book of the saga - Blood of Elves. The second eventtakes place between end of books and beginning of W1.

And by the way - Yen and Geralt are quite old as they don't age normally and I think at least the former might be older than 100 years old.

Blood of Elves in not the first book, no matter how some translations may try to spin it. Even if the other 2 books are "short stories", they happen before those events in chronological order and also were released before Blood of Elves. You even wouldnt know where th fuck Yeneffer appears for the first time if you dont read the second book, it would come out of nowhere.

So...
Does Roach not look completely different to anyone else? He also doesn't sound like I remembered.
It's really throwing me off.

i know there have been a shitload of these questions...but how much longer do I have if I just cured
Uma, and he just sent out the light orb thing.
Really trying to finish this game by monday, but feels like there is a lot left

I think I'm right at the end.

I must say, although the rest of the game was pretty easy the battle against
the king of the wild hunt eredin was not easy. What a nice challenge. Disappointing that I ended up trapping him in a corner and took 3/4 of his health in a single whirl that he wasn't able to block because of the angle I'd trapped him.. Took me 5 tries as it is.

So the final
Crone
just gets away or does it show up in some side quest? I have completed the story, was just wondering if that thread is still left hanging.

Well, given the fact that he's a horse I really don't know what to tell you.

Roche, however, does look a bit different. He sounds the same though.

This game is really long. I like it a lot. I want to kill the
crones in the woods that cursed the Bloody Baron's wife

Please tell me I get to kill them. Please.

Triss and Dandelion's English voice actors are so fucking miscast. It makes Dandelion sound like such a sniveling dirtbag, in English it's hard to understand why anyone gives him the time of day, let alone consider him a trusted ally. Triss' voice is all over the place. I imagine they are carried over from previous entries when perhaps budget for voice was lower, but I really wish they opted to go with more appropriate actors at the sake of continuity because it really hurts the game.

I played for a bit in Polish with subtitles and everything sounded great (or at least any poor voicing was beyond me), but it's really hard to try and read subtitles when there's dialogue during action scenes, and missing the incidental dialogue around town is a real downside.

Depends on how many allies youvd want to bring and how many of their quests you have already
done. +10 hours.
d
Ok that's what I thought. Booooo :(

115 hours in and level 30. Was hoping there was a bit more... Well there's always DLC I guess.
Ehhhh i think he might have confused the fights, you still have a few hours left. Unless I'm going insane and am misremembering things.

Polish VO is superb. NPCs have the text above their heads if you're looking at them which is good enough for me, and an unexpected benefit of the foreign language is nothing sounds repeated.

oh, damn wasnt expecting that much...but Ive already done every sidquest in the game. I have all allies here and ready to go. Felt like it was kind of wrapping up

Your allies aren't gathering for the end game. That's the thing that most reviewers and players didn't expect. You're in the early to mid part of Act 2, which Act 3 still ahead of you. But Act 1 is the largest act by far. Not a ton of new side quests after the ones you've already done.

Embarrassed to ask but: where do i craft runes?

Trying to get the Overkill achievement (poison, bleed, burning)

Any tips for that? I think i have the greater rune diagrams

Ok, I now firmly believe that there is a bug in the game preventing the Additional Content section of the tutorial from appearing in some cases, perhaps when the game is set to a language other than English. Here's a screencap of the section:

That section is nowhere to be found in my game. I'm playing in French. Can anyone here go in their tutorial to see if they have it ? And what is the language of your game ?

It must be some weird bug with a game save already started before the DLC was downloaded. When I started a new game it showed up but doesn't show up on my old game save.

How in the world do I get the master crafted griffin set? I bought all the maps I could find but I don't have a quest for those. I looked online and it said Hattori sold it, but he doesn't have a map. I tried looking it up online and just going to one of the spots, too, and I couldn't find anything there at all. Maybe I missed it, but I really

I really wish they didn't get so lazy with the trophies. Why only 3 different things for them to do? And they don't even bother having different numbers either...

It'd be rad if we could sort by weight (on consoles, I know there's some sort of a sorting function on the PC version).

I can't figure out where most of my inventory's weight is coming from. I'm carrying around 36 pounds of armor and weapons, 14 pounds of trophies, and less than a pound of junk in the "Other" section... That leaves me with 83 pounds of alchemy/crafting ingredients, food, glyphs, and runestones? How?! Most of them weigh .01 each, and I know I don't have 83,000 of them.

You'll still get a chance at finishing this sidequest but it will be way, way further down the main storyline.

Okay, cool. As long as im able to complete it at some point, im a happy camper. Thanks.

Eh amazed from the start... but 30 hours in the gameplay is getting to me.. as in you are free to loot and pillage and you have so many resources available to you. Factor in the loot system that just plain isn't interesting - I'm just looking for green pluses in stats and they are so under leveled normally.

I'll finish it for the story, but we need a better solution to open world games. Why couldn't they just make villagers fight you if you steal from them? (excluding novidgrad)

I pretty much stopped looting anything that wasn't a treasure chest late in Velen. There is never anything useful in crates, bags, barrels, ect... Its all generic vendor trash.

Ehh, not everyone, not me at least. I chose Yen not because she's canon but because she's awesome as fuck.
I went with Yen because she's fierce and, at least in this game, a richer and more interesting character. Triss is kind of a one-dimensional puppet with red hair and big boobs. Plus Yen's actress is way better.

Depends on the area, though. Sacks and crates actually do have worthwhile loot in battleground areas, they can even have recipes and diagrams there. Also sacks in random areas like a lone sack leaning against a ruined wall, and so on. It's sacks and crates in villages or houses that generally just have dwarven spirit and alchemy powder in them.
