Oh of course, I think they handled it well enough, I was just kinda expecting some sort of setpiece to get across the creature's destructive power instead of fighting it head on like you would with any other monster.

Well I'm another hours or so ahead of when I last posted that, but thanks. Point is, I'm good to continue at the slower pace I've been on since starting the game.

After the main story is over, I'm going to play to turn off all HUD elements and explore.

Dont waste your time with this. I went back to him after completing the ogre quest and all it did was adding a dialogue option with no reward.

Somehow I've put 96 hours into this amazing game, and it doesn't even feel like it. I haven't done many side quests honestly, and I think I have to be nearing the end.
Just completed the attack on Kaer Morhen mission, and got revenge on the Crones and Imreilth.

Easily my GOTY so far. It's one of the greatest games I've ever played and I can't wait to see how it ends. Must beat this weekend so I can be prepared to take on Arkham Knight.

sometimes the dialogue choices in this game are weird, i didn't even realise I was making a choice. Skelliger
some asshole jarl threw me in Prison for killing two dudes who drew swords on me in a tavern and killed some guy, he just wanted a favor but was being an asshole, sent me off to find his son. Thought I'd make him less Well-Done-Son guy by just offering to help him as a Witcher, but at the end of the quest guy spits on me for getting money for helping him. Yeah, but I'm only helping you because your asshole dad threw me in jail, you prick

Just finished, been playing since release. Man what an amazing ride. One of my favorite games ever, Truly fantastic. Happy with my ending, curious to see what other endings there are.

I'm trying to find all the upgrades for the wolf school gear and the chest containing the diagram for the enhanced steel sword won't spawn. I've tried meditating for a few hours and reloading a previous save and it still won't spawn :(. Has anyone else encountered this?

Guys a prick, he whines too much about the shit that's happened to him, and he can be needlessly cruel.

He's also incredibly loyal and quite funny at times.

The lesson is: always use your entire toolset. You're equipped to take own every enemy in the game, don't limit yourself and be patient and you'll find combat encounters that troubled you before become much more enjoyable and fluid.

Well, finally finished it.
I got the
witcher
ending.
A bit disappointed that Geralt and Ciri part ways afterwards. Having read the other endings, I think I prefer the empress ending when looking on the long term: if Ciri has to be separated from her foster parents anyway, at least she is in a confortable position, from where she can have a huge impact on all the realms.

The High Stakes Gwent tournament was super easy mode later on. Hardest part was the damn
fistfight in a small room
.

I think my game is glitched for the Wolf school silver sword. I found all the other diagrams and have everything else fully upgraded but the spot where the superior silver sword diagram is supposed to be there is no chest or anything.

The quest after is when you decide, but
if you don't kiss her at the ball you can't romance her.

Have you watched a video that shows exactly where each piece is? Sometimes the placement can be tricky to see.

aww, i didnt know that happened. I was replaying to get that ending. What is the reason given that they
split up? Thought they would become like tag team witchers lol
I was replaying to get that one, but idk if I care then.

Ending:
Witchers work alone. No point staying together when Ciri has learned everything.

Hey guys, sorry to bother you, but if any of you has the PS4 UK version of the game, could you do me a favor? I got the game along with Project CARS and the PS4 via Amazon UK's deal, but with the intention of selling the games (considering all the technical issues on PS4, I'd rather play it on PC down the road, when I get a more modern one). The thing is, I live in Spain, so I can't go around selling a game without knowing if it can be set to Spanish (text, there are no Spanish voices even in the Spanish version). Unfortunately that information doesn't seem to be available anywhere, and the only way I could find out would be by opening it, instantly devaluing it, so I'd rather avoid that.

So, after that long-winded explanation, the chase: if anyone has the PS4 UK version, could you set the console to Spanish and see if the game changes its texts to Spanish? You'd be doing me an immense favor. Thanks a lot in advance, people!

There is none. The narrator basically just says
"Geralt taught her all he knew and then they parted ways" and goes on to say what each of them did separately.

I think I have a Dutch copy but the back description of the game is in English. I can only set the language to English, Polish, Hungarian, Czech and Russian.

Is there any easy way to find the Gwent cards I'm missing? Fyi I never beat the Baron and I can't challenge him anymore, is it impossible to get whatever card he would have given me?

Regarding the Baron's, I read that after one of the recent patches you can go into his quarters and get the card after you finish Family Matters.

Based on the link in the OP the languages available for the UK version are:

Text: Russian/Czech/Hungarian/English/Polish
VO: English/Russian/Polish
Print: English+Quickstart Swedish/Finnish/Dutch/Portuguese

All platforms share the same language availability, so this would apply to the PS4. Looks like it lacks the Spanish subs.

He doesn't have to be a likeable character to be a good one. In fact, the contrast helps to add to his character more.

Well I finally beat the game and all I can say is wow. I believe I got the best ending
Ciri becomes empress, live a calm life with Yen, Made the lady queen of skellige and brought back temeria

I actually feel a little sad now that it's all over, this game is truly a masterpiece. I will actually send CDPR a letter.

Thankfully yes, if all the cities were the size of Novigrad I'd never set foot in the wild again.

The first time I saw Oxenfurt I thought it was huge, I had no idea Novigrad was that big.

Got all the gwent cards. Last couple were in a Tavern that wasn't even labeled on the map until I walked in a random house.

The Baron
quest line.

Man... Things did not go great for me. I figured saving
the tree spirit
was an iffy proposition, but curiosity and a hatred for
the crones
got the better of me.
