I don't think that's possible, since I mainly use autosave slots and only god knows when I saved the last time in an extra slot. Maybe in my second playthrough, if I ever finish the first one.
You live dangerously with corrupted save files and all :D

yennefer is a much more fun character, great interaction with geralt, I couldn't say who is prettier but both triss and yen are certainly among the most attractive women ever created for videogames

Nah, I love my Yen but Miranda Lawson is my waifu.

sorry if this has been asked before but is there a way of leveling faster, i mean i dont want to
do main quests now im level 5 velen ive found alot of quests are way higher requirement then level 5

Go around and do a bunch of the question marks around the Midcopse area. I did like 6 of them and leveled from 6 to 7. Otherwise you can generally take on sidequests that are a couple of levels higher than your current level, if you are playing on normal that is

Im a bit sided on wherever the Empress ending was a good choice. In the first hand she does say she wish to become normal and the Empress way is probably that way, but she is special thoguh and when Geralt brings Ciri to Emhyr she sows a great disgrace in him. Like if she goes to the Empress, it's like she forces herself to do it and it's not a free choice.

Thx folks for the answers.

Well, she shows disrespect for Emhyr because he's been a really shitty father, he basically killed her mother (albeit "accidentally), killed her grandmother by invading Cintra, and attempted to have her found and brought to him so he could actually marry her and have a child wither her because the prophecies stated that a child from the Elder Blood would be able to rule the world. So, yeah there is some tension.

Of course, it seems as though they reconcile once you let them speak especially since she later accepts the choice to become Empress. It's why my Geralt was like "as long as it's your choice I'm okay with you being Empress."

Anyone know how much of the main quest is left after the primary stuff in Skellige? I'm at the point where you're supposed to go get
Uma.
.

Been focusing on the main plot heavily the past few days and this feels like a reasonable point in the story to go back to the sidequest for a while.

Question about Count Reuven's Treasure:
Does Dijkstra always look through your lies? I really like the guy and I want him to be on my side, so I don't want to piss him off.

Just finished the game it took me 68 hours, And after 50% of the game I've only done the main quest due to the fact that I was planning a second run.
I love everything about the game, except for the controls.

The sequences with Geralt and Ciri was very heartwarming, especially how Geralt was smiling all the time around her
My goty unless a miracle game appears.

Finally managed to beat the game.

I got the ending where:

Ciri lives.
Radovid is dead, Nilfgaard retreats and Temeria is reclaimed.
Romanced Yennefer.
Ciri and Geralt go on witchering adventures together.
Cerys rules peacefully in Skellige.

Overall, I think I got what I'd personally consider the best ending to the game.

Stumbled upon level 26 Foglers
behind that giant tree in the south
, which is the highest I have seen so far. Dead in like 3 hits. (Level 15) :( The area in general seems to to be a possible main quest zone for later on as it's pretty inaccessible.

Gonna try to finish what I assume is be end of the main questline in Novigrad for the time being. And finally to do the Towerful of Mice quest.

I went over there at like level 9 and they appeared as ??. I called my horse and ran past 'em.

Hey guys, anyone know if
Keira
shows up in any other quests after you have followed through her questline?

For reference I
sent her off to Kaer Morhen with the notes

Boom! Bitch-slapped!
While they are in that area they are bound to the physically world, ergo, they take ten times the damage. Not exaggerating, a hit of mine made 35 dmg to a certain wraith, but within Yrden it did 350+

I think at the time I was still warming up to the combat, since it was fairly early, and I couldn't dodge worth a shit, thus I relied on Quen all the time. I haven't encountered a wraith in a while though.

Are CD Projekt Red releasing physical Gwent decks to buy like were in the XO CE. I heard from someone they were thinking about it?

I have a big group of friends that want to buy decks and have Gwent night and drink

Is that common? And is that common on PC?

Not too common, but there's always the potential. And if not outright corrupted saves, just broken quests that could be fixed by rolling back to an earlier state. It's just insurance against CDPR jank.

I manually save every hour or two. I think in the Witcher 2 I had like 90 saves across 2.5 playthroughs. I'm on track to beat that here, but W3 is a MUCH bigger game.

Leveling appeared to pick up for me after level 7. There are mods that increase enemy xp and one that instantly levels you up.

Right, should be more careful. Thanks!

Is [character spoiler]
Saskia
in the game?
No. Neither is Iorveth. I assume that they appear in the Season Pass Expansions. Or I don't know, both died due the common cold off-screen.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: The Witcher 3 is my favorite game of the year and the best RPG I've played in years.

I literally have to stop myself from playing. All my free time is spent playing this game. I dream about it, I think about it.

This fucking game.

Just had a weird camera bug. The camera got caught on some geometry during a messy fight, and it got extremely close to Geralt. And then... it just stayed that close. It actually made the combat look a lot like Skyrim. Had to save and reload to get rid of it D:

I'm going to be really annoyed
if neither of them appear in at least one of the expansions.

Makes me wish I had imported a different save to start Witcher 3.

Huh, so how about that incredibly randomly placed level 7 wyvern all the way down in the southeast? I'm thinking it's an indication that, at some point during development, we were actually supposed to enter Velen through the Nilfgaard camp in the southeast. A random-ass level 7 witcher contract all the way down there doesn't make any sense otherwise...

Yeah. I'm about done with the Prologue I think and even so far I've been more captivated and immersed in this world and the writing and quests than most other games.

This is the game I wanted Dragon Age Inquisition to be.

In that game, I kept doing the sidequests (I'm an OCD completionist at heart, it's why I'm not a fan of most open world games because the content turns out to be so shallow) hoping that they'd become interesting. But nope, it was just the same old same old, and even worse there was no good writing to accompany any of it.

And the kicker was that the main narrative/story in that game was also trash with shitty fanfic-quality writing and just terrible animated cutscenes.

And as I mentioned in the other thread, I'm now kinda worried that Witcher 3 is going to spoil me when it comes to Xenoblade Chronicles X. What I've been hearing of that game has been giving me lots of warning signs in my gut feeling. :(

Heh, was walking around Novigrad and hearing Geralt remark on a scent. Followed it and it started a quest.

Yes, those two recipes seem to be bugged. Afaik, the solution is to first destroy/drop the base version of the bomb, then craft the base bomb and the enhanced bomb in one go without leaving the alchemy screen

I ran into these recipe bugs today as well. Is Nordicus' work-around really the only solution?

Trust me, leveling faster is not going to be a problem. Main quests skyrocket your level. I'm consistently outpacing side content now.

I haven't changed my answer to "what's your favorite video game" since Ocarina. I'm not saying I'm there yet, but man this is the closest I've been in years and there's still so much of Witcher 3 to go. Really hope it keeps up this pace.

ran into another generic quest i can't finish near novigrad entrance. i read a letter which points me to a nearby location.

but there's nothing there.
