The Worst Date You've Been On?

I don't mind being rude on girls that I'm not interested in seeing romantically. I've done the whole drop off without getting out of the car thing; funnily enough I did it to the same girl twice after both of our dates. If I only want one thing I'm not going to play the courtship role.

My worst date, and probably hers as well, was the first official date I had ever had with my at-the-time new fiance. I was nervous and conveyed the whole night how uncertain I was about actually marrying her. I'm pretty sure she broke off the engagement that night, though not for nearly the last time.

I haven't had many, so it's not going to compare to a lot here.

The worst date I've been on was a follow up to the first time we ran into each other outside of work (large workplace, so she was not really a coworker). The first time went like this: I was finishing up some coffee at some place and she walked in, and we recognized each other. We wound up sitting and talking for about five hours. Five fuckin' hours in these uncomfortable. We decided to meet up a little later on that evening for some beer. It's hard to say if any of that really counts as a date since it started off with chance, but whatever. The next time we met up it was planned and all, but what made it so bad is it just didn't go any further. The conversation stopped advancing like it had been, she didn't seem to be having as good of a time, and ultimately the whole thing just kind of got shut down. It was so bizarre - I felt a pretty strong connection. Maybe because she was only going to be around for a few months before going back to Europe...(or she was just not in to me in the end).
