Import a Dutch coach. That's how Canada got two medals.
It's actually the worst canadian team in 20+ years. The coaches are lucky Denny Morrison refound his form at just the right time or else they would all be fired. Many will probably jump ship anyway.
Dutch coaches are working and have been working all over the globe. Luckily you also need the right skaters and not just coaches rest of the world 
But let's be honest, it's the first time we dominate the Olympics like this. It's a record breaking performance for us by all means. And I don't see us repeat this easily four years from now. Hopefully we can reach twenty medals. With the 10K mens and 5K womens plus team pursuit still coming that should be doable. And maybe another shorttrack medal too.

I would've thought the Russians would have an advantage wrt to waxes and such. They should've known the conditions well ahead of time, but perhaps it's not that simple.

So it's the wax/skis that has caused Norway problems? You'd think the best team in the world would be able to adapt quicker to changing conditions in the snow. I wonder how much more the issue of them not even getting medals is exacerbated by the fact the Swedes utterly dominated.

It's going to be bullshit when the rigged judging lets the Americans beat Moir and Virtue. Russians already got their end of the bargain, time for the Yanks to get there. I normally don't wish for anyone to do poorly, but I am sincerely hoping for a fall from the American team.

The Canadian females have been a complete non-factor. There are usually a few that are at least competative, so it makes me wonder what has happened to the program and the coaching for it to turn so bad.
It's like the swimming program. Another sport where Canada has disappeared.
Seems odd. Where are the conspiracy theories? Home course advantage for Russia so they should know the conditions. And the last country I would think to have ski problems would be Norway. Did somebody poop in their wax or what?

It's crazy that in a few hours we'll see live what people in the US will watch at this time tomorrow. CBC was showing Bode yesterday and I noticed he was crying, I thought it was because he finally got bronze/a medal.

God, that was painful to watch. Leave the poor guy alone. You can see her prod and pounce the moment she knows there is an opening for an emotional interview.
