Are people deliberately avoiding Eggmanland?
The theme park world in Mario Sunshine was fantastic.

JSRF - Sky Dinosaurian Square is a favorite.
I'm pretty sure I have some sort of weird obsession/ non-sexual fetish with theme parks / rollercoasters in video games. Maybe it's because theme park levels are always the most detailed. Glad to see I'm not the only weird one
Donkey Kong Country 2 had some fun roller coaster levels. It's a shame there were no regular platforming levels set in the amusement park

How have gone this long without mentioning goddamn Roller Coaster Tycoon?
The Secret World's theme park zone nailed that creepy/scary theme park.
100% agreed, Rocket Robot on Wheels was one giant theme park, and it was awesome, IMO the best N64 platformer (yes, better than Mario 64). The game even had a roller coaster editor! The physics engine was also amazing and well-used, and graphically it looked absolutely great.
