There Came An Echo (Kickstarter) - Feep, Ronald Jenkees,Wil Wheaton [Cash in da bank]

I wish I could back it, but I can only back KS via Paypal option after the KS was successful. Which reminds me,will you offer prepurchase KS like options after the KS?

10,000$ still needed!

We'll be putting up a PayPal option almost immediately after the KS completion, with pretty much identical rewards.

Only 10k to go...!

Ah, awesome. Thanks for the answering :)

How did i forget to kickstart this? I must have been on my iPad when i first saw this. Fixed that

Fixed that ;p

I really hope that bumping the thread will get a few more people in.

Just backed for $15, game looks cool and Sequence was pretty fun (thanks again for free copy). Don't really have more money to give right now but every little helps! I hope!

2000 a day is making this thing close, but considering the last day push, we SHOULD be able to do this.

82,000 / 90,000

Is there a way to skip shitty mini games? >=[
No, but that's because I literally have no minigames planned. While there might be hacking involved, YOU aren't the hacker...your soldiers are. They hack. You don't.

Hacking does not involve shitty little games. = P

I forgot to mention that a few days ago I finally upgraded my funding. I went from paying for Sequence to paying for more Ronald Jenkees. This better get funded.

@85k and 3 days left (or probably closer to 2)!

Hmmm. 64 hours left and only $1250 to go. Has it shot up recently? Either way, it's looking a whole lot more comfortable now.

Quick word of advice, if people are confused how it's gone from "3 days left, closer to 2" to "64 hours left": Kickstarter always rounds times down. If it shows '3 days left', it's anything from 72 hours remaining to 96 hours remaining.

Edit: And now <$1k to go! I'm going to bed, but I'll be very surprised if it's not funded by the time I wake up.

Edit2: Y'know, I might stick with this 'til its funded. $700 to go.

We're about to do it.

Does anyone have any appropriately funny pictures to use in the Update I'm going to post, entitled "WE DID IT"?

It shot up due to a Kotaku article and Wil posting about it again. = D

Yo, let me tell you guys

Seriously

This game is gonna be so rad.

Like, even if you don't use the voice controls.

So rad.

Can I recoup my $15 at the 9am Thursday morning gathering or no?
Really? 9am? Thursday? You just don't want anyone there do you.
I definitely messed up the time slot on that one...time zones. = P

In any case, I basically bribed my chef friend to come over early and cook everyone custom-order breakfast. So I'm throwing a breakfast party, essentially, from 9 AM to 11 AM Pacific, counting down till the end. ; )

Edit: Also, dat thread title change

Congrats Feep! :) Glad you made it.

Just want to point out that GAF has literally brought more money to the project than any specific media outlet. Facebook, Twitter, and Google Plus do exceed it, but check out the rankings:

1) Facebook - $18,416
2) Twitter - $3,847
3) Google Plus - $3,194
4) NeoGAF - $1,976
5) Reddit - $1,166
6) Joystiq - $1,110
7) Rock Paper Shotgun - $705
8) Kotaku - $590
9) GiantBomb (no specific article was published) - $460
10) Kicktraq - $452
11) IGN (shocking!) - $315
12) Destructoid (only a blog mention) - $290

In other words, you guys are awesome and I heart you.

I'm going to know if I can up my pledge in a day or two. Gotta see the KS total rise!

I'm always surprised by how much Kickstarters pick up in the last days. In ten years I'll still be like "damn I never thought that last stretch goal/funding would be reached."

I'm sure many of us feel we kinda owe you for Sequence. I know I did.

What actually determines a pledge as 'coming from' a given source, anyway? Use of the Referer tag? I didn't actually pledge via a link from GAF; I'm wondering if the KS site thinks I'm just a random passerby then.
