Aww, thanks...but I've actually had male/female sex years ago, and have had several people want to date me over my life...so that wasn't really the issue. It's just that gender dysphoria and a lifelong lack of libido pretty much kills any desire to date any longer.

Honestly, I'm completely content staying single, although intimacy (like kissing) is very nice. :)

Dave Grohl annoys the shit out of me. Tries too hard to be Mr Nice Guy, the Foo Fighters are incredibly bland and aren't a patch on Nirvana and he was crawling up Lemmy's backside every chance he got.

Athletes in general.

I mean, being the best at anything is great and everything and I admire the amount of work it takes to get there.
But you arent' exactly changing the world, you are providing entertainment just like actors or musicians.

We make heroes out of them when there is people literaly changing the world for the better that are virtually unknown to the majority of the population.
People the like of Maurice Hilleman, Doug Engelbart, Dennis Ritchie, Norman Borlaug, anyone in this list really

I understand why Athletes may be heroes to so many but it's totally disproportionate to what they actually accomplish.

Completely agree, add sport players.

Sport players are usually Athletes, unless we are talking about Chess, Pool or Darts
For some people, the sport being Athletic is a requirement for it to be a sport at all.

That's why many consider eSport not to be a sport, or chess, or Golf.
But yes, I also put sports players in that category.

Coffee. Like, it tastes like burnt beans and people gush about the shit. I just get caffeine pills for my fix.

Edit: same for alcohol. Tastes like ass and you have to mask the taste of the shit to make it tolerable. Then it begins to make you more and more retarded as you drink it. Also, drinking your calories is dumb unless it's a protein shake. ;)

I think you could say that for any Food really.
Most of it is aquired taste and you don't really choose what you like or don't like.

You can't force yourself to like something but you can always have an open mind and not judge people on their personnal preferences.

Star Wars
Harry Potter
Lindsay Ellis
Air Friers
Cookie Butter from Trader Joe’s
Wokeness
Amy Adams
Naomi Osaka’s Mental Health Crusade

I’m such a deranged curmudgeon I could probably rattle off at least 200 more things but these are the ones that immediately come to mind that grind my gears. Roast me.

What a weird fucking list.
Amy Winehouse has been dead for 10 years - that's the one musical act that really stands out for you?

Harry Potter.

Im into all things nerdy and fantasy but I can’t seem to understand why they’re so loved….

I think me and my son are on like the 5th or 6th movie but they’re doing nothing for me. I though for sure I’d love them because I wanted another long series with character growth etc. No scenes or specific moments ring a bell to me thinking back at the ones I’ve watched. They just seem like a bunch of scenes mashed together. The feel very messy.
That’s the problem right there.

The HP movies since the third one are just a live-action synopsis of their respective books. Too much material to cram into a 2-hour movie + the movie audience wants only the most spectacular scenes + overall poor acting and even worse direction since David Yates took over the films = a complete, piss filter-covered mess. The 6th movie isn’t even a shadow of a shadow of the book. But seriously, starting with the 3rd movie, good luck understanding what the fuck is going on if you haven’t read the books.

Not to get too political but the younger generations fascination with turning western nations into commie states. It’s a failed system that doesn’t work unless it embraces the thing that it’s meant to replace 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ok gotcha. I does seem the movies do get high praise though. Maybe it’s mostly from the book fans. Good to know I’m not just an idiot for not understanding half the shit going on. The movies jump from scene to scene with too much shit going on. I still plan on finishing them sometime though.

They inspire and get people motivated to push your limits. That's why people cheer them on. The same counts for somebody that invents something important.

You need healthy body to live long, happy life. Some form of active lifestyle is needed for that but pushing physical limits is not good for human body at all.

Slipknot is boring, shapeless music. The lyrics are insincere.

Halo is just pretty good.

Will Farrell has only had a few funny moments his whole career. Anchorman is not very good.

Rolling Stones are not 1000th as good as The Beatles.

The Sopranos

The Office

The former is just so...boring to watch to me, I felt like nothing happens. Concept was great but ehh, I guess it just isn't for me. Amazing actors though.

The latter, I enjoyed it but...best sitcom ever? For real? I don't find it all that funny.

The Olympics...especially the summer ones.

Here's a collection of who-gives-a-shit sports that most people wouldn't spend a passing glance watching at any other time but because its the OLYMPICS, its going to be live streamed for weeks. There are some outliers that are interesting but I don't see how anybody can get excited at the 100m men's butterfly.

Represent.

Represent(ative) of bad opinions
Horror movies or games. I just don't understand the desire to watch a movie to scare me. Like I can understand the desire to be moved by a love story or laugh in a comedy since those are generally good things but why would I want to get scared. Like if you want me to keep my eyes open and my ears unplugged don't make your movies scary.

Yeah I feel similarly.
I mean I admire their talent and respect all the hard work they put into being the best at their respective sports. But at the end of the day professional athletes are essentially just entertainers.
Always find it weird when you see complains about certain teams or players not getting paid as much as others, or seeing them act is if giving interviews and being in the spotlight was a bother. It's like dude, you are an entertainment, playing sports isn't some higher purpose that entitles you to wealth and complete privacy. You basically get paid depending on how much entertainment you provide the audience.
