An IMDB rating based on 100 ratings and likely based on trolls and marketing. When the early reception I have noticed on Twitter, several other forums and critics have been hugely positive.

"ELSA IS ONLY IN 45% OF THE FILM? A ZERO. A POX ON DISNEY AND MAY THEY NEVER MAKE ANOTHER MOVIE AGAIN."

Man, I miss the Disney of the late 2000s. Gorgeous traditional 2D animation and god tier Pixar movies with original ideas. Early reviews of Frozen seem to support this. Now it's just princess princess princess talking planes talking boats talking chairs.

Oh well, at least they're doing Marvel right.

Hmmm surprised at all the great impressions and Tangled comparisons...

Frozen is currently sitting at a rather low 6.2 IMDB rating while Tangled stays way on top with a great 7.8! Usually these scores tend to go lower with time which would make Frozen a pretty terrible film ( that is if you chose to give weight to IMDB scores) ...

Personally, i'll await more impressions before deciding on whether to go watch this one or not!

Basing your opinion around an IMDB average rating? Seriously? That’s like basing an opinion on a poll from gamefaqs for a game.

Let’s ignore all the extremely positive reviews and the current 100% on rotten tomatoes. Sure, makes complete sense. Wait, what?

What are you even talking about? This is the second post you’ve made in here that is complete nonsense. Are you purposely trying to look silly and uniformed?

True story: I honestly didn't mind the gargoyles in Hunchback.

Didn't either. If we re talking about annoying sidekicks, Mushu in Mulan feels more off-putting and out of place.

Late 2000s? Traditional animation was already in the doldrums by then, with the decent Princess and the Frog being the only exception.

And I assure you WDAS is a lot more than just princesses, neither Tangled nor Frozen are defined purely by the characters being of royal descent.

Just ignore the junior, he won't last long if he continues with those type of post.

Well, he is entitled to his opinion and hasn't done anything remotely ban-worthy.

Haha I can't stop listening to Let It Go, but I have to soon so it's not permanently in my head before the movie.

Idina, the instrumentals, everything. It's incredible. Amazing song and it will be a classic.

You should watch the movie before forming an opinion on it.

Seem to support what? Have you even read some of those early reviews

IGN Movies gave it a 9.3, "The best Disney animated feature since Beauty and the Beast."

Shit is really getting real.

You can tell if people can't form opinions properly and have no idea what they're talking about when they refer to a movie's storytelling quality with 2D/3D.

ITT people start putting their faith in IGN's film critics.

Not sure why I should put less value into an IGN review opposed to most other reviews? A 9.3 is actually very high when it comes to movies for them.

And I’m more excited for the fact that the second patch of reviews are still just as glowing as the first patch. The movie really seems to have delivered.

Wouldn't really call it the second batch, still less than 20 so far when a wide release would usually be reviewed by about 200 or so critics.

I've noticed that the reviews from France and Germany linked from IMDB aren't nearly as glowing. Noticed a couple of really scathing ones. From whatever Google Translate produced, it seemed that they were very critical of the music, which serves as a contrast to many of the Western ones.

I will agree though that the IGN critics don't seem to be any less credible than the average registered critic on RT. Didn't think that one was particularly well-written though the same can be said even of certain 'Top Critics'.

Damn this is getting some great reviews.

I loved Tangled and this seems to be a worthy successor.

Can't wait to see it.

Anyone else hooked on Let it Go? I think the Orchestral arrangement is fantastic. Love the Lyrics as well! I would pick this over Now I See the light
