This is one area where Outrun 2 has BO3 beat

to me... outrun 2 for xbox will be like how crusin usa was for n64.

plus i love games where it changes environments (sort of like nfs:hp2 giving nods to nfs2 with the lava on the track and stuff)

sometimes games can be an experience, instead of just eye candy.

For those of you who haven't played OR2 yet, do yourself a favor and hunt down your nearest arcade\gameworld and PLAY THIS GAME!! I got a chance to play it about a month ago, and let me just say, words and pictures can't do it justice. Once that Force Feedback wheel kicks in, it's almost like a rollercoaster ride.

I'm not a die hard fan, but I was around and old enough for the original, and man, was it revolutionary for the time. Having lived in So. Cal for 14 years, I definitely see where this game's inspiration came from (if you ever visit So Cal, do yourself ANOTHER favor, lol and take a trip on the 405 freeway, preferably northbound from LA heading toward Magic Mountain-pure Heaven on Earth).

I'm really REALLY hoping the classic verions get squeezed in as well. That would definitely stretch the replay value and nostalgia factor. This Gen. really kicked ass for me *sniff*

Executing driving mechanics like powersliding is not the challenge in Burnout; applying them reflexively and strategically to packs of traffic and curves at unrealisitc speeds is the challenge. So, drifting is made to be accessible and exaggerated since it's a basic tool for that.

Lazy 8's sounds like one of those guy who explain why a fighting game is 'deep'. Really, its an arcade racer... not rocket science.

Mike Works: where did that post come from? Its like a phantom post.
