Anybody else getting really annoyed by the new Ford F150 ads? You know, the ones where the speaker's monologue is written on the screen? (I've seen this in other recent ads as well, and it's just as annoying.) I get the feeling that deaf people get the worst of these ads too, seeing as the closed captioning says pretty much the same as the writing already present. I just don't see the need for giving the same information twice, and I find it annoying.
 
What happens if I enter two 48-hour trial codes on my gamertag one right after the other?

a) Do they stack up? aka. I get 96 hours of Xbox Live, or

b) Do they overwrite each other? aka. I get 48 hours starting from when I entered the second code

Have anyone tried doing this?
 
February 2009 is completely rectangular on a standard calendar, starting on a Sunday and ending on a Saturday. How often does that happen? RainmanGAF?

This question goes a long with McLovin, how many people have a bluish/purplish pip that when you hover over says " on thin ice" or something really close to those, seen it the other day and was like...woah
 
What's up with not looking at the trap in Ghostbusters? Egon looks at it and says so, but there seems to be no adverse effect and it's never mentioned again.

I thought of this stupid question when I was taking a bath yesterday, and I can't get it out of my head.

I'm a white guy. If I close my eyes in a room where there's light, I see a blood red because light bleeds through my eyelid and it casts a little bit on my eye. What color do people with very dark skin see?

Sunday is the last day of the week. That's why its part of the weekEND and not the pre-weekbegin or something.
 
So it's cold and dry here, meaning I wear heavy clothes. The problem here being that I essentially become a living lightning conductor, I have so much static built up from a simple walk across campus that I fried someone's Ipod earbuds just by touching them.

How the hell do I avoid building up a static charge? It's really aggravating.

Don't they really mean, "...but first.........a bunch of goddamn commercials."

What do "forward" and "short" mean in Street Fighter lingo? For example: "I'd prefer crouching forward, forward, strong to it. Much more practical." Crouching forward? Huh? I assume a "low short" is a crouching light attack?

Those were the american names of the buttons in SF, instead of light punch, medium etc.


L Punch - Jab
M Punch - Strong
H Punch - Fierce
L Kick - Short
M Kick - Forward
H Kick - Roundhouse


People still use the terminology, I've always hated it.

I may be just pulling stuff out of my ass but it seems like in most stores you exit the building by turning left, the weight of the cart hitting the pavement outside might be slightly bending the axis on the wheels
