I really like Grover Washington Junior's 'Feels So Good'. It's fairly funky jazz, but worth checking out. See if ya like this:

Arranged by Bob James, who's an amazing jazz/funk musician from back in the day. Check out some of Bob James' solo stuff as well if you like funky jazz. He's been sampled almost as much as James Brown has.

Quick question regarding Windows XP 32-bit and RAM.

So I have Windows XP 32-bit with 1x 2GB of RAM, and was wanting to upgrade it to at least 3GB's, I know there's not much point going past 3GB's for 32-bit OS but seeing as how a 1GB and 2GB stick are basically the same price nowadays +/- a few bucks would it hurt anything if I went with a 2GB stick, so 2 + 2 = 4 total? Other then some ram not being used.

Cool, glad you like. You should also look up 'Return To Forever'. 70s funk/fusion band. Very experimental stuff. Not as melodic as Bob James or Grover, but worth checking out.

OK GAF I have a problem. It's my laptop battery- it's stuck on 'plugged in, not charging'. I'm at 10% battery, and when plugged in it doesn't decrease battery, but it doesn't charge. I've restarted once but no dice.

I'm using a HP Compaq Presario CQ61 running Windows 7 x64. Ideas anyone? :(

My previous laptop would do that occasionally. I could unplug it from the adapter, let the battery run out completely and then plug it in, and the charge would work fine.

Nope

Depending on how much VRAM you have windows will probably recognize about 3.5GB and the rest will just go to waste. If you ever decide to upgrade to 64-bit Windows 7 or something you'll be good to go with all of it.
 
I have a dell ultrasharp 2408wfp monitor.

Recently it began buzzing after the monitor had been on for a while. It wasn't crazy loud or anything but was noticeable when I didn't have music running.

I had dell ship me a replacement. The new monitor buzzes but it's not nearly as loud. It's very slight and sometimes I wonder if it's just in my mind now or if all monitors have a very slight buzz to them.

Can you tell me if this is normal? Turn off your music and let me know if your lcd monitor has a slight buzz to it if you put your ears close to it.

I know ebay's the obvious choice, but are there specialized sites for sellers and collectors?

hi everyone who's still reading this thread... i'm wanting to buy this tv from a guy on kijiji, aka canadian craigslist. it's a sony bravia xbr 46 inch LCD

so basically, it has an issue where one side of the tv has trouble warming up but it fixes itself after about 15 mins...

he says it's about 2 years old and the problem might be the FB1 board in the tv... i was just wondering if anyone had issues with sony bravias before, like if i should just steer clear of this tv.
