Does anyone know how to change the icon for bookmark folders on the toolbar in Firefox? I've been Googling and following tutorials about changing a file called userChrome.css for the past half hour and even though I follow them exactly it just leaves me with a blank icon.

why are some bruises purple/blackish and other green??

i got a greenish looking one on my shin and have no idea where it came from....i think i just woke up with it :/
 
Is there any GIF editor that makes it easy to delete every other frame in a gif in order to cut down the file size? Or do they all pretty much force you to do it one by one?

Hoping someone can help me with this: just got a 1tb portable hard drive to use with my pc and my ps3 for video files - it's of course already formatted ntfs but the ps3 needs it to be fat32 to read it so - what's the best way to go about doing that? For whatever reason I can't figure it out, my brain's died on me - and I had to do the exact thing a year ago with another 500gb drive and can't remember what I did exactly, and google is failing me. Preferably I'd prefer to have everything all in just one partition, but am not even sure that's possible here? Any help would be appreciated thanks!

There is only ONE secret to winning on forums. I know you are banned but maybe this will be useful for the next Forum you will go to, or others are thinking of breaking down.

Is it possible to download an older version of Live Messenger? The new 2010 update removes a bunch of features I want, but all of the links for older versions just lead to an installer that automatically wants to grab the latest one from Microsoft.

There are torrents for the 2009/14.0.8089.0726 build; will that work or is it going to try to update automatically?

I'm not too sure. I remember downloading an old build a while back and it worked. If you are on a build your satisfied with then just stick with it otherwise I'd at least give it a shot.

I recommend using Pidgin. It is what I switched to once Live Messenger started messing with my PC.
 
Am I overreacting?

Today I got a call from a telemarketer trying to get me to go for a photoshoot, and they not only mentioned me by name, they also name dropped two friends who I know had gone there.

After I hung up on them I dropped my friend a text, asking how the company had gotten my number, thinking maybe it was through Facebook or a trick or something, but no. They'd been offered free chocolate and champagne for a list of 20 names and numbers, and they gave them 80 to get four lots of free stuff.

I was pretty mad, said it was stupid and selfish, but my friend says I'm over reacting. Am I?

Tl;dr my friend gave away my name and phone number to telemarketers to get free shit.

Yeah, it's annoying that they did that but you're overreacting. They didn't oblige you to anything, you got one phone call. They were able to have a good time and get some free stuff. This isn't worth being anything more than a little annoyed for 10 seconds over.

I've always felt that people should try to care less. I mean, nobody's 100% straight or 100% gay, especially with how androgyny is getting with some subcultures... so really, it doesn't matter if it's "gay", a sensible person shouldn't really care.

Heightened immune response(like seasonal allergies) is really to illicit a better/faster secondary(memory) immune response. It also serves the purpose of better variability in the V/D/J rearrangement of genes of the lymphocytes. All in all, heightened immune response is not exactly a bad thing from an evolutionary standpoint, but they are damn annoying.

Take what I said with a grain of salt though, i'm not exactly an expert.
 
I am moving to Bangkok in August and have a question about my flight. I purchased the ticket for a Korean Air flight from the Korean Air website. My flight goes like this:
1: Nashville to Atlanta via Delta
2: Atlanta to Seoul via Korean Air
3: Seoul to Bangkok via Korean Air

Question: Will the first leg of my flight follow Delta's rules and regulations (ie. having to pay for checked bags and liquid restrictions) or will it follow Korean Air (ie. no fee for 2 checked bags and no liquid restrictions)?

On my e-ticket it says that the flight from Nashville to Atlanta is a Korean Air flight operated by Delta if that helps in any way. Anyone have experience with this? I've only flown 2 times in my life and they've all been non-stop flights.

there is no purpose, the immune system is just too sensitive to certain molecules that are no danger at all. Among many factors living in a clean environment as a kid can be bad for training/adjusting the immune response.
It's a also partly genetic or at least imprinted by the mother's genes, but I would argue it's not something preventing your survival (at least in the last 10k years of human history) so there is no evolutionary force to get rid of it.
Of course the other way around would be worse and is thereby much less common because the process of evolution took care of that (=dying earlier or partners wouldn't choose people with a sickness/being weaker).

I've had a fucking terrible blowjob, and no it was not worth it at all. I put some fuckin' work into my oral, and a 3/10 blowjob in return - bullshit. She kind of turned me off by it actually, it was that bad. I say 3/10 because the lack of teeth gave her some points, I can't imagine that..

It depends on how long you have had the bruise, according to Wikipedia, a bruise goes from red to dark red/blue to brown/black to dark green to yellow/brown.
