When I named my current cat I liked to just think of all the hobbies that I like and come up with something relating to that hobby or interest. I named my cat Io because he was orange, lol. And I like astronomy.

If I were to get another cat now I'd name it Komi (after Mike Komisarek, defenseman on the Maple Leafs). Pronounced Koh-mee.

So is Out of the Game Podcast officially done and gone forever? And if so, does anyone know if Jeff Green and Shawn Elliott are on any other podcasts now?

Jeff and Shawn both have podcasts, Jeff does his Official EA Podcast, and Shawn does both the Irrational Games podcasts.

Don't know if OotG is gone forever though.

Cool thanks. I subscribed to the Irrational one but I'm holding off on EA despite my love for Jeff Green. Looks like they haven't updated since May and they're not available on the Zune Marketplace. :(

Any reason why the threads that are on the bottom page of the screen are on the top if you go to the next page but posts aren't?

And my question is, what is that feeling that astronauts supposedly get when looking at Earth from space? Isn't there a psychological term for it? Was just reading something about astronauts and couldn't remember what this phenomenon was called.

Homesickness?

They aren't, if you opened page 2 and 3 at the same time, they'd be correct, but usually someone has posted something moving a thread lower down in the time you go from the top of a page to the bottom and click the next one.

I believe it's that anyway.

Help me name my cat.
We've had him for two weeks now but we haven't found the right name yet. He's a hyperactive, fluffy orange tabby who loves pizza. We tried names like Max, Rizza, Vincent and Cheeto but nothing has stuck. I've been calling him Dingus but that isn't a very nice name.

I'm tired of calling him "The Kitten".

Gronk

Thank me later.

Jeff tweeted the other day that Out of the Game isn't done and the idea of how to revive it is definitely still being tossed around.

Is there any language with more than three grammatical genders? I know German has three (he/she/it). I've heard that Portugese has the same amount. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, English has one (it). I heard someone mention that Japanese has four depending on what you count, can anyone clarify that?

From Wikipedia
More than three grammatical genders
• Czech and Slovak: Masculine animate, Masculine inanimate, Feminine, Neuter (traditionally, only masculine, feminine and neuter genders are recognized, with animacy as a separate category for the masculine).
• Polish: Masculine animate, Masculine inanimate, Masculine personal, Feminine, Neuter (traditionally, only masculine, feminine and neuter genders are recognized, with animacy as a separate category for the masculine).
• Dyirbal: Masculine, feminine, vegetal and other. (Some linguists do not regard the noun class system of this language as grammatical gender.)
• Luganda: ten classes called simply Class I to Class X and containing all sorts of arbitrary groupings but often characterised as people, long objects, animals, miscellaneous objects, large objects and liquids, small objects, languages, pejoratives, infinitives, mass nouns
• Swahili: 18 noun classes
• Zande: Masculine, feminine, animate, and inanimate.

Jesus, Swahili sounds like hell, but if it's based on logic it could still be easier than Luganda. Feminine/Masculine/Animate/Inanimate is the basis of Indo-European languages so it doesn't surprise me that exists. Thanks.

Anyone know of any programs that could fit the bill?

There used to be one that was basically just an eraser, a couple different sizes of brush and some tints like in manga. I would find it but it's been many years since I've seen it used or mentioned. The awesome crazy guy-kills-millions-of-anime-girls gif was made using it as well as others of that nature.

I think Dingus is pretty good.

Yeah, it's been his default name so far. It just rolls off the tounge...."dingus".

It's not a very cool name, all the other cats will probably make fun of him but we can't think of anything else that sticks.

Anyone know where I can get a cheap bike (I need one for getting around my college campus since I cannot afford a car)?

How much should I expect to pay?

nuther cat question.

Has anyone here managed to train their cat to walk on a leash? I wanna take the cat with no name out for walks around the block. We're gonna try since our little man is still young enough to train for this kind of thing, we got the harness and leash but I'm hoping that someone else out there has had success with this kind of thing.

I don't know if your school does this, but mine rounds up bikes left on racks from spring semester and gives them to my school's surplus store to sell for super cheap (like under $50).

Or maybe you're thinking about something like this.

Why do I get an insufficient privileges error when I search for more posts from a user via the drop down box? Is it related to search being down at the moment?

That feature is exclusive to gold members.
I've already said too much.

Just get him used to wearing the harness indoors first. It's usually not a prob.

Anyways, I need help tracking down a certain children tv-series. I think it's made sometimes in the late 80's and stars four youngsters transported to an alternative world (medieval-ish) where they get magical powers. They each have a colored armor and some kind of weapon. One of the guys has blue armor and a trident, the other one red and a sword, the girls I don't remember... I think they call on the elements to use them though. Blue-water, red-fire etc. Ring a bell for anyone?

Is there anything I can do to keep a still-loading page to stay in one place, and not scroll up automatically as things load? It's frustrating.

I'm on firefox if that's important

This post starts out anyway mine does, with utter chaotic confusion. I cannot give you a beginning or end that would defeat the point of seeing the true message within. No more blather either just straight to the point.

Is zero the greatest number ever?

Before you begin the hating perceive my theory of insanity induced through a life of chemical and consciousness addiction.

-1 +00- 1

Ya follow

Now for the kicker.

The sum of that is 0 rather 0 is the sum of both a -1 and 1. Therefore doesn't it mean all numbers are less than zero.

0>1 Therefore all since one is the only number that can become all numbers

Rather expand the premise.

-2 -1 +00- 1 2 (reverse and remove the zeros)

Why would I do this rather think of dimensions or nesting dolls. No matter what all numbers are tied to the inner cores.

7 8 9

7*9=63
8*8=64

See the same effect I was mentioning with the zero now it's happening with regular numbers. My problem, what is this effect in math called when numbers do this no matter the extremes.

7 8 9 10

7*10=70
8*9=72

77 88 99

77*99=7623
88*88=7744

This is a stupid but serious question that can help me figure out only one half of this problem. Depending on answer 1-4 members may get a nice gift if they help me finish this which would help finish a different set of operations and equations I'm working on. No I cannot say what I'm working with directly but you can enjoy all the clues I've left already.

I remember something like that but I believe it came out sometime in the mid-90's. It was sort of a medieval knock of of the Power Rangers. Can't remember the name, though.

which one is more powerful the NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M or the Mobility Radeon HD 5650? and should they be dedicated or integrated?

5650 - dedicated. Integrated is never a good thing when it comes to GPUs.

If you're standing directly over the line that divides two different time zones, one foot on one side @ 1:00PM and one foot on the other @ 2:00PM...then what time would it be?

It would be 1:00PM in one timezone and 2:00PM in the other timezone. There is no special answer to this.
