When you subscribe to a thread it gives you the option for instant notification and daily e-mail updates. What does instant notification do? Does it e-mail you each time a new post occurs? What exactly is in the e-mail?

I used to have this turned on for another message board so I don't know if it's the exact same message, but it's basically an email that says "______ posted in ______ thread."
 
Why isn't the full second season of Regular Show not on iTunes? The entire first season is on there and so far they have all of the third season, as far as I can tell. I can't find out why the second one is completely there.
 
I really messed up.

I entered my email in a bogus contest (fuck you tumblr) and it's a bullshit ad thing/site .

Anything I can do to undo what I did?

Your email is theirs forever now. (Unless they're somewhat legitimate and offer you an unsubscribe link in the emails they send you.)

Otherwise, the most you can do is simply mark their emails as spam. This can vary from very simple (they're the only ones sending you ads) to impossible (they've spread your email everywhere, and everyone is now trying to sell you shit or scam you). You can only hope that your email provider has a decent spam filter.

In short, you can't undo it, but you can probably deal with it.
 
Uhm i have got a silly question, there is this gif around GAF that i have seen at times, and i suppose it is from some kind of TV series, i tried to search for the gif, but i couldn't remember the last thread i saw it in. Basically it is multiple gifs, of a older man with a white beard, a light shirt, and a fishermans style hat, making various faces. Anyone can help me out ? I guess it is depicted in a boat or a white'ish colored house, there is also another character in there i think. Please help :{

So with all the hoopla over being secure when you are online lately, I'm pretty shocked to see that many sites limit your password to only 12 characters.

WTF?

I've been changing my password on sites recently just to have a fresh password, and many limit you to 12 characters (Best Buy credit card HSBC and Adobe Forums are two).

why the would they do this?
 
Is there any way I can add music to my iPhone from multiple computers without having to sync? Even when I check manually add music' it stills makes me sync to delete all the current music on it. The syncing shit on the iPhone is so god damn stupid, at least give me the option to not use it.

Isn't there an option to only Sync checked music and videos? I'll have to check later, you may have to do this for every computer:

-Plug your Iphone in, go to itunes and click on your ipod.
-Scroll down and it should have an option to do what I stated above.

Hi!

Have an odd problem in Vista..

speakers work fine, sound scheme looks normal, laptop plays the windows theeme when it starts..but all other sounds don't work...

I just need my laptop to beep when the battery is low but I can't get it to work.

When I click on "test sound" nothing happens..

any ideas?

As I said, speakers and drivers work fine!

Oh btw..I just realized recently that when you press ctrl+b it automatically bolds the highlighted text..does anyone know what I have to press to spoiler-tag that way?
