Tiger Woods PGA Tour (NDS) - Gamespot review

Hmm, so putting sucks but fairways are cool. I think someone else on the forum mentioned something similar. Also too bad EA couldn't spend more time on the audio poriton of the game. Oh well, at least it's a fairly competent effort that even uses the touch sensitive screen in a novel way (which should have been extended to the putting portion but maybe next time or maybe Mario Golf DS, which I assume Nintendo will make one of these days, will really push the touch screen use).

What these reviesw/impressions tell me is that this Tiger Woods is a pass, but next year's iteration might just be a must buy. They have a whole year to revamp putting, add more character creation options, and better the sound, without significantly messing with the core touch screen gameplay. They could easily have themselves a really great golf game.

I liked the putting in the GBA version of TW, this sounds the same. The driving sound freaking stupid. Rub the screen then follow some curve??? WHF does that have to do with golf????

It's this type of "we will use the touch screen cause it's there" shit that scares me about the DS. This game should have been the same structure as the latest TW console games with the same control as the last GBA game, not some "innovative" touch control. In this case, innovative sounds like WORSE than before, that's not innovations, it's frustration... right up there with driving using the screen in RR, both are fucking stupid ideas.
