Also, what word can go on both sides of "things?" That ones a stumper.

Had me stumped for quite a while too. Still, get what needs to be done first out of the way - sort out the rest of the top-right section.

is
inbetween right?
I have ____ man ____ room inbetween left as well as
down the _____
and head in the _____

Head to head was wrong.
"In between" is not one of the boxes. They're all one word.

inbetween is one word, but I guess that means its wrong anyway =P

Nope.

And I'm pretty sure "in between" is two words. But I don't feel like using A Dictionary. ;)

dictionary.com says inbetween is a word so BAH!

aaanyway...

could also be:

face to face or eye to eye
neither gets me anywhere though

Stuck on 2. Fuck hints just tell me.

And....

"Ah, I see, Monsieur - you omitted a letter when you typed it, and I mistakenly thought that you'd mistyped one of the other letters instead."

Isn't this grammatically wrong?

I'm pretyt sure I have everything but the bottom right now. too many damn options for ____ to ____ and none of which lead to a good "in the" phrase >_<

Ok, I have a theory on 1.05, I just want to know if i'm thinking in the right direction here.

Ok, so the D in the formula means the answer begins with the letter D. Since the others are names the answer is also probably a name and begins with Dic, because the other names have the same letters after the first letter. Now I have to find something sticky to put behind dic.

finally got it.

another clue for 13 that had me stuck till now:

down and out was also wrong

is 14 even all english? I can't read that... my brain goes "bleh!" when I try and make sense of the words.

Hey, let's you and me talk about other options.

Seraphitia, CamilleLemurs and Tazz aren't invited.

Ass to Ass? Oh wait not invited. :(

Edit: that was a joke, I got the puzzle

Edit 2 : nooooo SQL error

for 14, there has to be more meaning behind the word dame. They wouldn't just use it.

so somewhere there is a connection between something a dame would 'emit', as well as an instrument?

cane dame mean anything other than a woman?

14 also makes me think there is connection between sound and light.

like an instrument can emit sound, and at night one would need lights to well... emit light. Thus connection orchestra and night time through the word emit

14

the only anagrams I see are dame can be made into made... orchestra made made? and emit can be made into time... which timing would have to do with an orchestra I guess... =\

and I can't think of any clever hints for 12... all I know to say is just start typing in words that come into your head no matter if they don't seem to fit

I'm still stuck on 1.14 - been busy drinking since the football. :)

Saw the anagrams, but can't find one for orchestra, or work out what it should match with.

a search on orchestra anagram told me that an anagram for orchestra is Clare Short... but that didn't work :(

what a minute... but that has a l... lying bastards.

you don't need that box to progress, and in fac thvaing it slowed me down. if you are only missing the red box in the top right you might be able to solve the whole puzzle at this point. If not stick with just trying to figure out the area near the red box.

I have no idea what I did for 14, I went to that link I posted, put in orchestra and 2, and started just pasting in things that looked like they even made sense as words by themselves. And none of them seemed to fit the clue, but one of em apparently worked.

Press the UP key on the box, to cycle through what you typed. (might not work in IE)

so far I've got "_______ man to walk on the moon." Is first what goes in the blank? I've tried putting in Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin as answers, but they don't seem to work.

Does Avant have auto complete? I know in Firefox I can click in the box then hit UP to see everything I typed in there.

I prolly have that turned off somewhere. And I wouldn't be able to get back to that box anyway cuz now I'm passed that question and you like.. can't go back.

and why is that the answer to the orchestra one anyway?

Major Spoiler (final Answer)
CART HORSE

Nah the auto complete works for me on any questions, as long as it is the same site.

Edit: 15 Two trys and i got it. :/
