is there something to 15 I'm not seeing? I can think of like 50 different answers and I just keep randomly trying crap.

I would think the best answer would be, "his life" but I guess not

The title of the puzzle
pneumonic device for Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet

Does not help the actual puzzle does it?

sixteen seems like a pain, I'm going to print it and cut out the squares to make it easier

edit: you gus solved it just from the title? dang

I don't mean to alarm you but you have dogs on your face
I'm not too fond of a lot of these puzzles. So far it seems like a lot of random guessing and trial and error instead of exercising your logical capabilities.

Yes, these are pissing me off. >:|

No, but the title helped. Once you've arranged all the squares, the title will help you.

Edit: 17 was nice and easy. A bit British, though.

18 is one of those things with random words... bleh.

So once I put them in order I have to use PS again?

I've aranged the tiles (never heard of that definition of "cracker" before) and I still don't know what the colors are for.

also have no idea what the title has to do with anything =\

I stare and I stare and I come up with nothing. I give up for the time being.

putting the squares in their proper place was so easy too =\

I am stuck on 1.08.

I know it has to be a synonym for burned or charred that is close to a synonym for new or good condition, off by a letter or two, but I am drawing up blanks.

I don't even understand the directions of 17, what does it mean to rmove one of a pair of letters?

that there were like.... two l's next to each other and he removed one l
or there were two ll's and two rr's and he removed both rr's?

also, how the hell am I suppsosed to know what effect reversiong an airflow valve would have on a lawnmower? =\

makes it into a fertilizer or something? or a leaf blower?

I'm still hopelessly stuck on 1.5. I have no idea who Michael Vick is either. Could someone please give me a non-subtle hint?

mana: there are E's and an E. There are P's and an E. Then there is the word you are trying to figure out. Then there is a Squeezed E.

E's E, P's E, ______ Squeeze E

edit: stuck on 17 now

I got to 16 and was like.. fuck it, WAY TOO MUCH WORK.

Same here. A few of these are clever, but most are just stupid. This would be easy to make, too. Once you have an answer, making a cryptic, vague question to fit would be easy.

I'm not sure about the last two lines, but I think each line is a separate definition for a word with multiple meaning. The first line is a definition of myth with mountainous hands. The is a very literal definition, there is nothing metaphoric about this line.

Stuck on 1.17. Looks like its going to have to wait til later. :(

I've tried as many words with double letters as I can think of.

I was looking at the first one:

What starts with an A and is useful for looking up skirts?

Answer: Dictionary.

WTF? If that's the answer, there should be some quotation marks around "skirts" or something. It's awfully lame how they actually use bad English to make a puzzle. Forcing us to think out of the box and flex our mind a little bit does not actually work when you phrase a question in a way that defies grammatical fundamentals.....

yeah, that's what I'm stuck on too.

I think grass would be the first set of double letters, but then I think cutter, clipper, trimmer, etc, nothing seems to work.

a vacuum cleaner? All this time I was working on stuff like effective/defective

edit: Nope, this doesn't help. I've been on thesaurus.com to see every possible synonym for sucks and blows and none of them are ringing a bell.
