time to worry about FFXII

Aye cuz talking DQ8 even here is equal to all FF attention?

Sigh, I can safely save your my opposite is nearly everyway but that good thing. Makes me realize spending day hanging out on forums is not such smart thing.
Let me rephrase that as best as my MS will let me. There is more then just Final Fantasy out there guys. After all this is forum that rips on japanese for never trying other franchises when only select few sell.

:lol

Don't ever stop posting.

FF isn't what it was in the 32-bit era, everyone knows this. FF7, FFT and FF8 seems to be the series best moment. So, I'm not surprised that Square is putting XII on the backburner. Trying to overhaul FF's gameplay system while also trying to make it still feel like playing a traditional FF is a hard thing to do, and I'm sure this is what they have realized and therefore explains why it is constantly getting pushed back.

I miss the old FF's and games like Chrono Cross. If only they could be remade. :(

Square needs to realize that they would be better off remaking the GOOD FF's, like FF4, FF6, FF7 and FF8 instead of rehashing them as new games. FF4 and FF6 because those games are SO OLD that remaking it would essentially be like playing a brand new Final Fantasy. FF7 because... well, no further explanation needed. FF8 was definitely a game that could have been helped by more capabile hardware as well.

Not sure if it was mentioned before, but appreantly Final Fantasy XII will be shown off tomorrow on G4 E3 Live.

I'll go ahead and say simultanious Japan/US release again

I've got a feeling this is going to be the last BIG PS2 game like FF9 was for PS1 (for me at least)

Have you been missing out on all the news? Wada -JUST- ruled this out at E3, saying it was a 2005 title for Japan but Americans would have to wait till 2006.

When Flynn and I asked about the game, we were told something to the effect of, "Yeah, it is being reworked somewhat, but it's still on track for winter 2006," so NA should get it by February 2006.

Shut the hell up you nostalgic butt leakage.

I hope they did overhaul it because I didn't like the direction they were taking the battle system. Of course, the in-game art kinda sucks to, but eh, win some lose some.
