Is there even a 4k gsync monitor ?
Only one released
Acer XB280HK
debating getting it
Is there even a 4k gsync monitor ?
Just a question why do people buy 4k Monitors for their PC? I am eyeballing a Vizio P series television, and I understand that response times are slightly better on a monitor, but outside that, the PQ/IQ on a television is outstanding. Why the big it factor with monitors?

Where did you order yours from? Local vendor (PCCG/MSY etc.) or import? Either way: nice!
Stock clocks,
Firestrike - 21,000
FireStrike Extreme - 13,223
FireStrike Ultra (4k) - 7,741
Highest I got with my 3 Titan Blacks on Firestrike was 21,933...
I had an Amazon order, but then PCCG posted up that they had stock so i quickly jumped on it since it was only a 20 dollar price difference. So i cancelled the Amazon one of course.
There is a way around the shitty Aus price, but it would involve having someone in a non high tax state in the US to recieve it for you then pass it on via mail with a lower declaration of the price.
The only monitor manufacturer that talked about DisplayPort 1.3 is Seiki, and they have delayed the 32 and 40" 4k models with 1.3 to Q2 2015. They probably won't support G-Sync, but there's a slim chance that they could have Adaptive Sync.perfect monitor for me would be a 4k 120hz+ GSYNC panel
Seiki Digital Facebook said:Hi Dennis, the monitor will not support 3D. We will check on the support for DisplayPort Adaptive-Sync and Freesync. Since, the monitor has not been launched yet, full details have not been released. Thanks for your interest.
Been testing off and on.
For some odd reason, whether I'm using Precison X or Afterburner, I cannot get the power usage to top 100% (despite the slider being maxed at 110%). My Firestrike scores are also lower from my initial scores that I posted earlier, even with a +103 on the core.

Will start benching soon
Ah yes. Very, very nice.
It will be interesting to see how NVIDIA's support compares to EVGA, etc. It was like the reference GTX 970 was their "dip in" to see how it went or something. Heh.
A little concerned about that. I've had nothing but EVGA from the MSI 580 Lightning Xtremes to this point. Their warranty was always a big thing to me...even if I never had to use it. I don't even know what the warranty on these Titan X's are tbh.
Well...I have experienced 4k 60fps and it is the real deal.
I loaded up BF4 Final Stand, Giants of Kareilia 64p MP map. Everything Ultra including 4xMSAA. Never dipped below 80fps. I did the TR benchmark, Ultimate setting @ 4K and I got 88 fps. For kicks I did Ultimate + 4x SSAA (lol) and I still came in at a playable 44fps. Everything on stock clocks.
I really miss Gsync though. Will have to keep my eye out for upcoming 4k Gsync sets.

Looks like 3 years - so that's good. I've worked with NVIDIA before (NV Surround issues) and they've been great. So I doubt much will change on the hardware front.
If you get a third card you won't miss G-SYNC as much.![]()
I miss the responsiveness of GSYNC. In BF4 even though I was above 60fps, it still wasn't as responsive as my ROG Swift. Wasn't too bad in Game Mode. But everything I've tried from Firestrike to gaming has been smooth at 4k.
I'm old school. Gave up on the NV Surround/120Hz setup due to the myriad of issues that I encountered. Driver by driver there'd be new shit - finally my monitors stopped being recognized as 120Hz so I had it. Now I game 1080p single monitor. No more multi-monitor headaches. With 3x980s *obviously* G-SYNC is absolutely unnecessary and provides zero benefit (pushing over 200 FPS with a 5960X @ 4GHz). I've had it off (because I was benching with 3DMark 11) and I did not even realize it when I fired up BF4 later that night. Using a BenQ XL2420G by itself until 4K/144Hz/G-SYNC (or Adaptive Sync supported by NVIDIA) is a reality.
So yeah, get that 3rd card and you'll be close at 4K.I opted for 2x and I'm still contemplating a 3rd even though it is absolutely unnecessary and unneeded for my 1080p ass. Trying to hold off until that magic 4K monitor comes out. Although maybe 4K/144Hz is still not something even 3x TITAN X can reliably pull off.
It's just nice now to finally not have to "chase the dragon" for BF MP performance. If anything, the game is looking old and shabby lol. Need BF5! Maybe I'll get bored and get a 1440P/144Hz/G-SYNC display.
Shame It's got the reference cooler.Looks like the EVGA SC is confirmed as 1127/1216MHz, not a bad step up from stock.

Exactly. HDTVs have typically have 30-50ms display lag. Monitors are at the 1ms level. Play an online game at 50ms display lag and then on the monitor and watch your score go up.The latency is pretty much terrible on most 4K televisions. Additionally, due to a lack of quality chroma subsampling, text can appear grainy/blurry on a television vs a monitor.
Finally, there's the higher DPI on a monitor, typically. And they come in sizes more appropriate for a desk.
I assume you downsample 4k on that 1080p monitor? So yeah, get that 3rd card and you'll be close at 4K.I opted for 2x and I'm still contemplating a 3rd even though it is absolutely unnecessary and unneeded for my 1080p ass. Smokey are you planning to OC those bad boys? Because I'm kinda waiting for OC'd Xs before I pull the trigger.
I literally
cannot believe what i am reading
like ...da fuk..sk3tch PLS i am now dying over here
also my cards are not glowing outside of the Geforce logo

I messed a bit w/ OC earlier. Got up to +117 on core. Didn't touch memory. I can definitely go much further than that, but with SLI it can be tougher to get a higher OC because the cards are "linked". Will push harder later today.
I may have some kind of issue though. I can't get my cards to hit the 110% power target, or break 100% that often. The highest they've gotten is the Tomb Raider benchmark when I was running Ultimate + 4x SSAA. Power was at 102% and 95% respectively. So that's a little worrisome for me. Maybe it's an isolated thing on my end I am not sure.
Just a heads up if interested, but you don't need DSR to downsample, you can setup custom resolutions. They works fine with my SLI, though the limit you can downsample is bound by the monitors capabilities.Nope - DSR is not supported with SLI.

Must have the most FPS with the least latency for MP!!
That's weird - I think it was Guru3D who said the logo is white and there is a green glow...ha...maybe you can tweak with the GeForce Experience.
I would guess that MSI Afterburner needs an update to fully support the TITAN X. Although reviewers were getting around 1350MHz and I think that's what they used...so who knows.
^ how are temps? I've read the X is bound by TDP and throttling due to temperature.
Thanks!
NVIDIA Control Panel > Change resolution > Customize...
Or?
Mine definitely are not glowing. Maybe it was on the CD that came with the cards? But I don't have an optical bay installed. Maybe Andy can clarify later on.
I have tried Afterburner and Precision X 16 (what I am using now). Max slider to 110% and I can't get there.
There is now also a nice green LED in the fan housing and the logo is displayed in white.
Nope - DSR is not supported with SLI.
This isn't strictly true, Sk3tch. It's a little more complicated. This is the current state of DSR compatibility:

DSR is supported by SLI. It's SLI + GSync that DSR does not work.

with your rig, you are going to be able to jack up res quite a bit and still post high fps.
Are you using custom timings? I've not had luck pushing past 4K with my 970's and Eizo Flexscan SX2761W-BKI think the guide could be updated for Maxwell users. The new cards\drivers seem capable of creating much higher custom resolutions.
With the same monitor, here are the highest resolutions possible for me:
GTX 680 -> 5120x2880
GTX 980 -> 7680x4320
A lot of those resolutions have since been switched to 60hz as well. Though beyond 3840x2160, the resolutions become far less practical and are only useful for screenshots (with a single 980 at least).
They must be smoking crack.

NVIDIA GeForce Experience > My Rig > LED Visualizer - that's how you change the blinky lights on your card and NVIDIA SLI bridge (in case you weren't aware). So that's where the fan thing would be - if it exists.

I sure hope the EVGA and/or MSI cards come out soon so I'm not spending the next few weeks constantly refreshing Newegg and Amazon.
Finally, for launch availability this will be a hard launch with a slight twist. Rather than starting with retail and etail partners such as Newegg, NVIDIA is going to kick things off by selling cards directly, while partners will start to sell cards in a few weeks. For a card like GTX Titan X, NVIDIA selling cards directly is not a huge stretch; with all cards being identical reference cards, partners largely serve as distributors and technical support for buyers.

Few weeks sounds like at least 2.
I looked there and didn't see it. Checked Guru3d for pics and I don't really see it there either:

maybe it was a pr/show thing *shrug*
