Hemlock is only way crazy in the hands of an already decent player. Devotion on the other hand anybody can pick up sit back and get a lot of kills.
G2a in the hands of a really good player? Probably the most obnoxious shit in the game. You can get picked off with accuracy from across the damn map and there's nothing you can do about it because you're a glowing Christmas tree .

I always quit crash and that other one with the 2lanes inside they are fuckin horrible. But respawn puts you back in the same map like 1O times in a row. Why? I remember in mw2 I had the same problem, must be something in their matchmaking
Northstar needs a couple more buffs. Currently, she's just an easy kill for me.
I'm gen 10. I've put time with the game . I've come across only a handful of really mobile players since launch.
I'm talking random pub matches going in solo. Most players do not move. It was no different in titanfall 1.
The funny thing is when they realize there's another really mobile player on the other team they switch to their camping turtle play.
You just have to be super duper careful with Northstar. And pray you never see a Ronin

I've been messing around with aggressive Northstar along with tether trap and nuke eject. It's fucking tough.

Gen 10 as well and very mobile. I think people should play how they want. If they are logging in every day and supporting Respawn, I'm happy.
I still have a ton of fun being mobile and flying all over the place.

I can't remember northstars r1/rb option but radar seems much more fitting. It's funny how much easier tone is to use in comparison

Where do you play? This hasn't been my experience at all. I'll agree to the hyperbolic 99% of bounty matches start off on roof tops killing grunts and taking pot shots at each other. It's gotten to the point I stim to the other side and wait for them to set up with whatever smg I feel like running at the time. When they're distracted I take em all out (this works 9/10 times at start of match). After that though it's not like that at all. My experience is people jumping in and out of windows, wall running, using roofs for recon then moving out. Yes there is always the occasional camper but that guy is almost always the lowest scoring. Even A wall devotion users. I throw smoke 1 of 2 things happens. They're stupid and don't move and die or they move back and in their blindness they get killed from an oblique angle they didn't see me coming from. Yes those cheese playstyles work on the general population. I guess I play differently then most. I hunt down A walls, turrets, titan, etc that would destroy my pub casual team. You have to imo because a CoD players idea of dealing with a turret, a wall user, etc is run head on into it shooting till it dies>spawn then repeat. I'm just an opportunistic killer and only take them if it doesn't prevent my goal of protecting the team, and won't give me away.

Yup, love seeing titans run it because you can damage them as soon as they hit the ground all while the pilot is trying to get in. By the time they're in they lost their titan or its doomed.

I've found Ion's traps best use as pilot killers as they enter a titan. As soon as you see a titanfall with a shield kind of look up like your shooting a mortar round and shot your traps at the domed titan. I will bounce off and leave like a gate around the titan. When the pilot tries to get in they die and you have an easy auto titan kill.

LmaoHalf way through Gen 4 played almost 80 MP hours and still haven't touched North Star, all my other Titans are Gen 3 at least.
It's cuz she looks like Mike Wazowski to me and I'm pretty sure she has a nose art that makes the resemblence even closer lol.

She really doesn't need a buff.
The only horrific thing in this game is how bullshit Tone's enhanced Particle Wall is. If I were Respawn I'd disable that kit for now.

Yeah, I think that's the problem I'm having. The tether doesn't seem to actually catch the enemy titan. I also run into the problem of getting doomed and then executed because the tether animation takes too long before I can eject.

Need custom titan loadouts yesterday. I don't mind playing Amped Hardpoint but I would like to use the auto chip instead of the turbo dash or nuke, Respawn pleeeeeease
Or just copy TF1 and give 5 base loadouts plus 2 that are specific to each game mode. That worked perfectly.

Fully charged shot should not damage but instead go through Particle Wall, Game changer. My only issue with Tone is you see a counter coming you run, Tone sees anyone coming and simply says "ok, let stand and bang" she'll trade blow for blow with any titan because of that shield. I'd like to see her see a Northstar and just think "shit, got to go!". Having 1 close range counter in Ronin and one long engagement counter in Northstar. I don't think it would change much in the mid game for Tone. She'd still be pound for pound best mid range DPSer. The only thing that would change is a Tone sees a Northstar at range with cover available and she'll think twice about trading blows.
I'd also change that you can't destroy your own tether as a QoL improvement.
I feel that she probably needs some sort of a buff but I am going to spend some time with her this weekend to work a little better with her.
However, I rarely ever see myself thinking, "wow that is a good Northstar". But I am running Ronin lately and before that Tone which are basically Northstar killers.

Been using Ion and Tone so far but want to branch out. Tried Scorch last night but could not figure out the proper technique. With Tone and Ion I can kinda sit back, use the wall/vortex and hammer on enemies from afar. It doesn't seem like I can use Scorch the same way. But then I tried being up in the middle of everything, using the flame shield to melt enemy titans, but that didn't really work either (I kept dying really quick). Any suggestions from you guys who love Scorch?

Nah, it's not even worth using. The extra rockets are a lot more helpful (gen 23 with Tone now). Northstar sucks and I have never once encountered a Northstar that scared me. She is good on Homestead, though.

While we're improving the game lets give Tone an Amped Particle Wall kit! That would be so awesome!
I always used the increased particle wall. By the time the enemy could take it down 9 out of 10 I had another one ready to go.

I'll support Northstar's ability to shoot through walls, but yeah stopped using enhanced particle wall around gen 7. Most of the time I only place a particle wall as a distraction anyways. Haven't met a better Tone player yet.
It's just not my playstyle. Most of the time I am moving all over the map in an unpredictable (hopefully) manner.

Sorry, I thought you meant like choose any ability for any titan. But choosing just a different loadout for a mode is actually a good idea.

It should either be
A. An inate ability at full charge
OR
B. If you want piercing on all shots you need the already available piercing perk.
We laughed about A-Wall Tone but on further though I'm sure I could make it fun and fair. I'm all for making perks that actually change playstyles in the particular niche a titan fills.
