Wait why did people compare those two?
Stone cold.Well on the upside if the game ends up looking like a pile of shit no one will ever know since Origin doesn't support screenshots.
Kinda figured but still bummed about it.
A Source engine game on origin.

It's not so much that Origin is bad (it's not), it's that EA is one of the worst things to happen to PC games since... Well, they're probably the worst thing.
Also, Origin isn't even close to Steam in a feature set comparison, even after all these years.
Isn't it great?
What is the problem? I don't get it. If I remember correctly, source was also ported to the original Xbox, 360 and PS3.
Who used Amalur as an argument as they wouldn't do this? That game came out during the time when EA didn't know what they wanted to do with Steam titles.
? What does an online service have to do with screenshots?
Can't people just use FRAPs/DXTory/etc to take them?
Disclaimer: I haven't ever used Origin so if this is a meme I apologize.
I have no issues at all with Origin. It alarms me those who are so polarized by Steam they are not open to alternatives.
Vince Zampella seems to express a sort of sadness about the EA relationship.
Second time he has...

I can think of a couple reasons.
1) All my friends on Steam. I have over 100 on Steam. Very easy to click on a name and click join game. Now I have to open a separate service with 1/10 of a friends list and probably about only 2 or 3 actually playing a game.
2) Origin doesn't have a second level of security and your account can be compromised more easily. I've already had my Origin account stolen once due to Sim City release.
Mainly number one though. It makes absolutely zero sense to make a game PC Origin exclusive in this day and age unless EA is developing it themselves.

It kind of sucks to have a split library, but is it really that big of a deal?

Xbox One it is then.
Well, Valve started the source engine. Valve made Steam. I think that's what they person was getting at.
Every time I log into Origin I get a email security code for login, you might want to check your account settings and enable the extra feature.I can think of a couple reasons.

Does Origin still have the thing where you no longer own the games after 3 years or so of inactivity?
Isn't this expected?
Another Titanfall thread. EA must be happy. Is this the most alked about next-gen game so far?
I own drm free copies of source engine games. I don't understand.
