TLC, the network home to 19 Kids and Counting, has pulled the show from its schedule after Josh Duggar admitted to molesting 5 underage girls — including his sisters — 12 years ago.

The network issued the following statement on Friday: "Effective immediately, TLC has pulled all episodes of 19 Kids and Counting currently from the air. We are deeply saddened and troubled by this heartbreaking situation, and our thoughts and prayers are with the family and victims at this difficult time."

However, it wasn't just Josh who was implicated in the shocking report. According to records, Jim Bob and Michelle were made aware of their son's behavior many years ago and they did not go to the police. "We had tried to teach him right from wrong," they said in a lengthy joint statement on Thursday. "Even though we would never choose to go through something so terrible, each one of our family members drew closer to God."

I actually just posted in some thread a couple weeks ago about how much I hate this family. I generally just ignore trash tv (Kardashians, Honey Boo Boo, whatever) and consider it to be largely harmless fluff. But the entire thing with this family has always been way more repulsive to me than your average desperate fame-seekers. Like, they kept having more and more and more kids over all this time just to stay on tv longer? (Or wait, it was "for God" right? Everything they do is -_-). They're just creepy and awful, and I know they were always super homophobic too.

I'm not surprised by this at all. TLC will move on to the next sideshow family they can get on tv, but I'm glad these people are going to be done for hopefully.
