Times like this I'm always reminded of how fortunate I am to have "no men" in my corner. Too often people exchange real friends (the ones who pull your coat tails and tell you when you're fucking up) with "yes men" who stoke the ego and agree with the dumb shit you might want to do to make you feel good and to keep their position in your camp. Between Odom's stable Lakers days and now, he has undoubtedly had people around him in a position to positively influence him and they've probably done everything but while simultaneously helping themselves to whatever money he had left. Now they're gone (probably left when his money dried up) and he floated around like a ship without a rudder until he hit a iceberg at this brothel.

Pretty much happened to one of my childhood friends. I am still angry about how his talent and money was drained by "his boys" who left him when the money went. Its important to have a friend to call you on your BS but also looks out for you and not a paycheck. I hope Odom recovers for his children's sake.

All throughout this season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians...he randomly kept calling Khloe and verbally harassing her. He also kept denying her request for a divorce and stating that Khloe "will always be" his wife. He is disturbingly obsessed with her.

And with all due respect, Khloe doesn't owe him anything. This is the same man who cheated on her with multiple woman throughout their marriage, and then made a drug-fuelled "rap video" with his buddy (who died of a drug overdose earlier this year) boasting about it.

Ingesting cocaine and alcohol together metabolizes into cocaethylene (higher cardiotoxicity than cocaine alone). Throw in drugs that change blood pressure and that is just asking for trouble.

I don't mean to shame you guys too hard, I'm just being honest... If the headline is "found unconscious" it tends to be something really awful. "Passed out" or "blackout drunk" or other terms like that are generally used when it isn't something horrifying like a possible OD.

We'll they're celebrities I'd imagine no matter where they went there would be cameras. It wouldn't take much to say that the Kardashians "brought" the cameras with them, and it wouldn't take much for people to believe it because of their irrational hate of them.

If all of this ends up on KUWTK...ignore everything I said.

Only way people would know is if:

1)They watched the show and saw all of this on there.

2)Lamar signed up something allowing him to be filmed.

Now I have no knowledge of Lamar signing a disclosure or intend to watch episodes looking around for him, but I can guess that this will be mentioned in passing some way on an episode.

I was referring to bringing the film crew from their shitshow with them. I agree, though--cameras regardless.
 
Oh man, I know things aren't looking well, but I hope by some miracle he pulls through.

Something as serious as this could be a huge reality check and might help him seek help.

Also, yea I wouldn't be surprised if this was made a big deal of on the TV Show, what a garbage family. No decency.
 
LO was huge against the Celtics in Game 7, my all time favorite moment as a sports fan. That's what I'd like to think about right now: Lamar and his childhood friend Ron Artest out-muscling those Boston bullies to help bring home the trophy.

Yeah this seems bad. The media is making it seem you have to watch KUWTK as a prelude to what happened before he went to the hospital & then continue to possibly watch the show to get in dept access to the hospital & Kardashian's rushing to his bedside & see what it looks like from inside. This is disgusting.

Reports are that he took the herbal viagra but also drank brandy, so it looks like he mixed that stuff together, combine with other reports that cocaine is in his system, man. Hope he pulls through Kobe & Lakers GM Mitch are also there as well.

EDIT: Just saw that reports are they banned all photography. But these are reports, same reports that they walked in with camera's, so unsure who to believe. Only way we will know is if we watch the tv series & find out which reports are true or not.
 
The first time I heard of Lamar Odom was NBA Street 1 or 2. His streetball persona was in the game.

I don't remember exactly which borough our neighborhood he came from, but they always made a big deal about how they were friends as kids and got to reunite on the Lakers. They may have known each other through basetball like a lot of young players, I don't know the exact story.

In any case, though, a big part of that Game 7 comeback was Lamar and Ron taking it back to the playground. They kept the Lakers in it before Pau and Kobe finished it off in the fourth.

Stop talking out your ass. From what I read, they're the only ones at the hospital. That's after his drug abuse, they're divorce, and his stalking of her. Khloe Kardashian is a good person, but it's so much easier to pass judgement from the outside.

Sorry if this sounds rude, but partying for days at a brothel alone and then passing out sounds like he may have been trying to commit suicide or at least be intentionally irrational and overdoing it without regard for his life. Hopefully he pulls through and turns his life around.

Robert Kardashian was a well known defense attorney.

Their fortune was built on the Dash name and expanded into boutique fashion, which is also successful.

So yea.

Were they one of the premier attractions in the entertainment industry then, or was Kim just Paris Hilton's stylist and the moderately-wealthy daughter of a prominent attorney? Because that's how I remember her.

On the other hand, that sex tape was absolutely abysmal, and it's hard to imagine the Kardashian name being totally built on that.
