Man, I just realized. Due to VA contracts and music licensing stuff (for the premium edition), there's almost no way in hell you're going to be able to stream Battride Genesis on PS4. Like, I'd be happy to be proven wrong here once the game's out, but I've got a real bad feeling about it.

Has anyone ever seen KR V3? I am trying to build my KR library and I cant find anything on it since it was released on DVD and no one wants to touch it.

"Fantastic beasts and Spooky Beats"

We have our title, now who's doing the thread come February?

As much as I enjoy Dino Charge, it still hurts to know that the 20th anniversary was so half-assed.

An important family dinner that was bad for the most part, but the desert is so good.

More like you serve a baffling selection of leftovers for the family reunion, and save the turkey for the next day when everybody is gone.

I have to watch Dino Charge. Last PR season I watched was... Time Force? I skipped one season before that, I think. RPM also looks good, maybe I'll watch it together with Go Onger.

New OT imminent? Maybe this time that banner I made will get used
;)

That's pretty cheap, I recall the original Battride War cost me more when I got it from CDJapan.

I was really fucking tempted to buy a Ghost figurine along with it but I don't really know which figures are "worth it" and which are cheap kids-stuff.

Are you getting the Premium Sound version?

And if you were going to get a Ghost figure, if it's details you're looking for in a figure, get either the Soft Vinyl figure or S.H. Figuarts (which finally sold out). If you wanna have fun with the figure, get the Ghost Change series for great fun. The hoodies get their own dedicated monolith stand to pose.

Yeah, Sound Version.

They tried, and it didn't last with the Space Sheriff movies.

Wish that was more successful, and we could get a new series.

Eh, anyway, something like KR Drive could pass as a Metal Hero. Dunno if there is a place for Metal Hero as a separate series today.

I'm thinking of going with the Ghost Change figures, just because they'd be cool to pose. I love Kamen Rider and I wanna show my love for the series by supporting official merchandise, though admittedly I'm a bit apprehensive when it comes to owning "toys"...

I want to buy the Vita version but I'm afraid they'll run like crap :[
It can't be as bad as Borderlands 2 or Resident Evil Revelations 2....right?

I wanna build a Vita library too, so I worry about these things as well

Either that, or you can go with the Ghost Driver if you haven't already, it's a lot of fun to play around with. And the gimmick toys are cheap.

So is it really true the Legendary War in Super Mega Force is only in a "director's cut" DVD? Wow...

Ah after looking it up, so it's the Extended Edition and was aired separately? What's the point - it should have been the actual ep.

How are AmiAmi's pre-owned items usually?

I saw this awesome Garren + Rhombus Bike I really wanna buy, but it's pre-owned---in fact every cool figure seems either pre-owned or out of stock, only one I could find that was neither was Drive Type Wild.

Titles and episode summaries for the first eight episodes of PR Dino Super Charge.
Obviously spoilers.

When Evil Stirs (set to air January 30th)
The Rangers believe their work is done after they've defeated Sledge and his evil monsters. Unbeknownst to them, an even more powerful monster is picking up where Sledge left off and is closer to the Rangers than they think.

Forgive and Forget
Snide plans to contaminate the city water with venom that makes you forget who you are in hopes that the Rangers will be infected. Meanwhile, Riley has a score to settle with an old rival at the Amber Beach Marathon.

A Date with Danger
Chase tries to impress his new girlfriend, Kaylee by showing how talented and accomplished he is. But when it becomes more about him and less about her, Kaylee starts to fall for the Black Ranger instead.

Nightmare in Amber Beach
Shelby receives a pillow from an unknown sender. When she uses it to take a nap, she starts living a nightmare. The Rangers suspect this must be from Snide so they all make sure to stay awake, but that proves to be harder than they thought.

Roar of the Red Ranger
Tyler tries to master the new T-Rex Super Charge Mode, but after Heckyl plants a virus in Kendall's computer, the T-Rex Super Charger malfunctions and makes Tyler go wild! Luckily, the Aqua Ranger is able to step in before it's too late.

Forged Under Fire
Tyler looks forward to catching up with his dad after not seeing him for the past 10 years. When Tyler's Energem becomes cracked, he is forced to mend it by placing it in Hot Lava and prove to his dad he's not a kid anymore.

Home Run Koda
Kendall creates a new Victory Charger that requires the core 5 Energems. But when Riley becomes Koda's coach on the Amber Beach Earthquake baseball team, he has a hard time pulling himself away from the game to help the other Rangers.

Riches and Rags
When Ivan mistakes a thousand year old suit of armor as a training dummy, he finds himself in debt after destroying it. Heckyl sends in a hybrid monster named Spell Digger to spread greed to anyone who touches his gold coins.

It sounds like the Aqua Ranger will be Tyler's dad. That's a good twist. I also see they're adapting the sleep deprivation episode and the one where Daigo turns into a T-Rex, leading into Carnival.

The thing about Amiami is that they virtually never restock stuff. So once something's gone, it's gone pretty much for good.

The Extended edition just adds some extra footage. It's mostly pointless anyway, since the extra footage is just more Megaforce vs grunts and stock footage, rather than actually more new scenes with the old teams in the final battle.

Oh, so the returning actors were in the tv version?

Yes. Though the Extended Version does give Karone a line, in the TV version she didn't get anything.
In both versions, Damon, Mike and Emily don't get any lines at all.

Man, even TOEI wasn't this... conservative.

They weren't even conservative, it was just badly executed, since the main producer had no interest in the anniversary stuff and was pretty much forced to do it due to Bandai and the source footage.

They flew various actors to New Zealand, but yet in the end they only appear in a couple of scenes by themselves and one scene with the Megaforce cast, but many are left without lines there. Just compare to Sentai, where Toei couldn't actually get many of the actors in 199 Heroes to stand alongside the main cast, but had them talking to them anyway in the scene with the Ranger Keys.

Also, although they recorded new Legend War footage, most of it was just the Megaforce team vs grunts. Nothing for the past heroes and no main villain or anything leading the army (which could be fixed even just by editing existing footage), which makes for an underwhelming final battle. Yet again, compare to 199 Heroes where most of the extra Legend War footage was used to give the heroes with returning actors more screentime there.

A Pretty Panda

fuckin' called it, man
They had Koichi Fucking Sakamoto come in and do new footage. Only thing that aired was Megaforce vs. grunts and maybe one shot of the Pink Turbo ranger kicking someone.

What a waste of money

I know right? They had the other actors there too, and they didn't do much either.

Fans noted there was also some new Samurai shots, but other than that, most of the Legend War was stock footage we already saw in previous episodes and online because the original war went fucking viral.

I really find it hard to believe that brought down Sakamoto (who was busy on Kyoryuger already) to just film all the Rangers standing on a cliff, then the big walking scene where the available guests took off their helmets, and a small handful of new fight scenes, most focusing on the current Rangers and giving no love to the Legends.

There has to be cut footage right?

I hope we get some answers about the season at some point. Maybe when the NDAs expire, the Megaforce cast will have a big 18+ panel at Power Morphicon where they'll dig into how the production was a mess.

Or maybe Tzachor was just really terrible.

Oh yeah what's Sakamoto's current gig?

Last thing I remember hearing about him doing is that "pretty much just straight up lesbian porn" movie with Yuria Haga (Mari from 555/Mio from Kiva).

Oh, I guess he's been working on Ultraman lately too, so there's that.

I would believe that there's more footage, considering Sakamoto was involved, but probably not much with the amount of time they had to finish up the show.

Wasn't there some interview with someone from Toei about them shooting separate Legend War footage for Power Rangers? Because from the looks of it, I guess there wasn't any communication on that part, since they just ended up using Gokaiger's Legend War footage any way and shooting some bits here and there. Either that or Saban didn't want to pay them for "original" footage.
