I never watched this show but this dude sure still has this face

BatDan

Bane? Get them on board, I'll call it in.
Haven't watched this week's Toku yet (tired...) but here's some Ninja Steel spoilers from France (thanks Nickelodeon!)

They're doing the Three Reds thing in the finale. Galvanax is destroyed. Sounds like they're doing the same thing as Dino Charge and Super Ninja Steel will have a movie villain that barely shows up. Lynn, stop. You're making things way too formulaic again. This is a mess

Keep up the good work, Nickelodeon.

Kyuranger 29

Don Armage looks fucking awesome. Seems they saved all the villain design budget on him.
Yeah, Orion and Lucky are likely related.

Build 2

Damn, feels in the second episode. This is going to be one hell of a season.
Sento is pretty awesome so far.
Yeah, Souichi is clearly not human.
Can't wait for more of this, and Night Rogue's killer voice.

I've started watching Faiz. First couple of episodes were pretty good. I'll push Ryuki back a bit and continue with it once im done with Faiz.

Parallax

best seen in the classic "Shadow of the Beast"

Prepare to get mad at how most of the issues would be solved by the cast simply talking to each other.

I think I saw yltumblr gifs of a similar video with the actor who played Gattack in Kamen Rider Kabuto. Is there a series of these videos on that channel or something? Getting old actors to mess around with new toy versions of their show props?

lol it popped up in my recommended videos.

Its a shame none of the Kabuto actors have reprised their roles in any form since the series ended to my knowledge.

Has anyone ever bought a driver?
I kinda want a Zector driver.

Kick Hopper and Punch Hopper voiced themselves for their Decade cameos in the tv series and movie. Those two alongside Gattack's actor also voiced themselves in some games. No proper out of suit appearances in live action productions though.

I just discovered this thread and now feel like my life is a little more complete.

I would like to say that my son is becoming a huge fan of Kyuranger (which my whole family enjoys). He's almost two months old, and while we were catching up last weekend he couldn't stop staring at the screen during the fight scenes. I was laughing so hard because he started squeaking in annoyance while there was downtime in the episode with no explosions, and then would quiet down quite a bit when explosions resumed.

Yep, he's my kid. I love tokusatsu so much that my wife and I had our wedding cake made with Kamen Rider W's clasdic green and black pattern.

14 episodes into Ninja Steel... it gets worse and worse. Today was really bad. Like, holy shit I can't believe this was approved of.

Welcome aboard. Your kid has fine taste.
And yeah, we need to see the cake.

Build 03

Another packed episode. Here, we see the leaders of hokuto and seito, who are the people that were sitting with Gentoku during the flashback at the beginning of episode on. Sento and Souichi explain how the build driver works, and Bloodstalk makes a surprise appearance at the end.

Also, for the second week in a row we have a bondage scene. Maybe those Tarantino accusations are on point.

Build is quickly eating up a whole quarter's worth of the budget by the looks of these few episodes so far. I doubt it's going to last, but I'm not complaining. After Ex-Aid's second half felt like it was trying to save as much money as humanly possible with the reused suits, limited locations and little to no bike scenes, Build by comparison feels like Rider was handed over to another production company.

I was really into Ex-Aid's back half, but you're right. Build's first two episodes had more bike action than all of Ex-Aid. My wife couldn't even finish Ex-Aid because it had no idea how to end. They kept dragging out Cronus (who had an interesting suit, but very uninteresting endgame).

I'll definitely post pictures of the cake, but I don't have them on my phone.

Ex-Aid also went HEAVY with the VFX and CG monsters in the first third though. After the first half even the HIT/MISS effects were toned down (and the crazy purple/magenta/yellow effects almost disappeared, outside of finishers), but still were regular enough to not look like another show entirely.

And you noticed they stopped putting powerups, and the different game props out there

On another note, I'd like to say I'm enjoying Build so far (the wife and I hope the political stuff will stick through the show and impact it). However, I'm worried about form porn.
The decision to just have the Cleaner Fullbottle on hand at a moment's notice came out of nowhere, which makes me wonder how many convenient solutions we may see in the next few episodes.
W, I feel, did this right by having it clear how many Gaia Memories the heroes had access to right off the bat. OOO did it right too by balancing a bunch of different forms with access to those forms coming and going organically through the episodes.

Most annoying shit ever.

I own a few of the DX versions, not any of the CS versions. ZaBee, Kabuto, W Driver.

Saw rumor that says Sento/Build might have started off as the Spider smash

I always assumed Spider would replace Bloodstark when he gets turned into a normal Rider. (A la Necrom)

Build subbed by O-T and GenMCorp.

Its looking good as a series. The toy shilling will continue for the next couple of episodes but I'm looking forward to what the hell is gonna go on. Its interesting that the evil Riders don't seem to be pally at the moment.

Build 03

So, the main heroine having a second idol personality is a thing now, huh?I like what they're doing to the characters. They all have lots of personality.

And the plot is moving fast. I wonder if it'll keep Ex-Aid's pace
and please not fuck up at the last arc.

But yeah, those episodes are CG packed. Either they upped the budget, or late Build will really look like a Showa Rider, heh.

Build is rather ambitious with is three nation setting. That's something you can't back away from. Though the wall vfx look terrible lol.

Build 3

So much CGI. We'll be simplified later on I imagine.
That snake gave me Ryuki flashbacks.
Man, there's quite a lot to this season. We're just getting started though.

Man, OT is releasing these episodes as I sleep.

Anyways, about the Spider Faust:
-last night's krg thread pointed out that Bloodstark's snake seemed to be made out of a liquid
-the theory is that the theme among the Faust generals is being able to control different states of matter. Nightrogue can turn into smoke, Bloodstark can create liquid constructs.
-presumably, if a spider faust exists, then it would have some sort of ability over solids.
-think back to the end of episode 2. We see café owner Souichi transform a tablet into a back scratcher with his bare hands

It makes sense.

Traitor or hidden motives?

I kinda want a Zector driver.

Have 2 CSM: Lost driver and Dark kabuto, both is very well build, hefty, chunky. Kabuto zector's horn made out of diecast.

bought every DX main character driver since Decade with the only exception is wizard (only bought white wizard driver). The belt is kid size, very annoying to wear. I display and play with them more them wear them.

Watch Da Birdie

I buy cakes for myself on my birthday it's not weird lots of people do it I bet
Also one of the Best Matches is SpiderRefrigerator, when things get cold they turn solid, and Build's base is in a---you guessed it!---a refrigerator
